Ok for a night or two but no more.
Pros:

Location-wise it was pretty much in the old Turkish quarter (old bazaar). From here a 10-15 walk across the old Stone Bridge straddling the Vardar river brings you to Macedonia Square with its gigantic statue of Alexander the Great. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The bed was relatively comfy. The staff in the cafe down below who double as receptionists were wonderful (especially Dina).

Cons:

The room is tiny, there is no fridge or tv. So be prepared for a spartan room.
