Poor stay at La Maison
Pros:

Breakfast staff polite

Cons:

Person on duty in morning very rude when checking out.
We said we were confused and my wife accidentally use a bottle of water from mini bar. The man said we tried NOT to pay, but cost was worth almost nothing.
He told me he didn't care if we write bad review.

Great hotel in lovely Cao Bang
Pros:

Everything about this hotel was great! The rooms were clean, spacious, well designed and the beds large and super comfortable. We had a nice view of Cao Bang city from our window. The breakfast was fine and offered a variety of local dishes. The motorbikes for rent at the hotel were brand new and perfect. Cao Bang itself is lovely and well worth the visit.

Cons:

Strange seating for breakfast, as the top floor is a bar. Our room was below the kitchen so there was some noise at night and in the morning.

Very helpful staff. Quiet room, very comfortable bed

Cons:

The dark interiors of the room, make for a very internalised feeling … when repaint comes around, suggest using white.
