A quiet little oasis just five to ten minutes stroll from the hectic tourist centre. Great breakfast. Comfy bed. The staff spoke good English and could not do enough to make you feel at home.
Hyggelig og lite hotell nær gamlebyen i Hoi An. Personalet var vennlige og hjelpsomme.
Min was a great host. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Location was convenient to the ancient city. Really enjoyed the free walking tour.
We were not a fan of the shower.
The staff (Ivy, Emma, and Helen) did a fantastic job. Their briefing was so thorough it felt like having a personal cultural guide to Hoi An and i learnt much I had had no clue about.
The staff makes its best to be welcoming and enrich your experience in Hoi An.
The hotel has a great atmosphere, they offer a walking tour which is included in your stay along side with a talk about Vietnam history.
Breakfast is excellent!
The property was very clean and the staff were amazing! Gavy explained all there was to see in Hoi An and suggested some shows/places that we went and loved! Ivy was also very friendly and sweet. We loved it here and will be booking another night before we leave.
The staff, location, absolutely convenient and also very professional attitude towards the guests. Thank you all from the bottom of my of my heart.
I like everything.
I liked the staff who are very friendly, funny, and amazing.
Emma, Ivy, and Helen were extraordinary and they made our stay a great one.
The staff is excellent, delightful Gavy and Ivy helped so much and were very kind. Location was definitely quieter away from the nightlife, but construction present all around so some daytime noise at this time. Not a problem for us, it was stopped at dark.
The ventilation in the wet room/ bathroom wasn’t adequate and kept things damp and warm. Small issue and air conditioner helped. Seated shower took some getting used to, but is actually clever.
Breakfast was great and plentiful. Tea and coffee available all day. Staff are lovely warm, friendly and very informative. When we first arrived we were met by the lovely Min and Gavy who gave us some great tips and convinced us to go and see the Bamboo Theatre which was great fun. We also took advantage of their free walking tour which was very informative.
Nothing it was all great.

It was very nice and clean. The hotel workers were very friendly and they made a personal contact with every customer.
There was no real window in my room.
Extremely attentive service from the staff and top-level room furnishings and details.
A lot of things to like about this hotel, with #1 being the staff, especially Ivy, Min, Tin, Helen. On the first night, i had a hard time because the strong smell of bugspray in the room/on the bed made it really hard for me to breathe. Without me saying anything the next morning, Ivy went out of her way to do everything she could to make me comfortable. Really, really proactive on her part. Min and Helen gave me fantastic local recommendations that really were excellent recommendations that you couldn't google for. And, Tin, did a great job with new visitor orientation on my first night.
Probably #2 thing i liked was they they upgraded me for free to a really lovely room with a lot of big windows, which really helped with ventilating the room (i was there in january, the temperatures were lovely most of the time, in the 70s, Farenheit).
#3, absolutely fantastic location, just what i was looking for - close enough to talk to old town but far enough outside that i was able to enjoy a lot of local eating places (not touristy ones). I mean, so, so many great family-owned restaurants and eating places nearby. All the best ATMs are just around the corner. Hotel is on small/quiet (relatively speaking street)
#4, the room itself was really nice.
The balcony was really, really nice - It was sheltered from the rain, did not receive direct sunlight (there was plenty of natural light that filled the room when i opened the curtains). It was a good size balcony, too, *not* so narrow that you could only stand. It would've been really, really nice if there was a small chair and table on the balcony to enjoy the balcony more. It was still really lovely, though.
#5 Unlimited, free drinking water, as much as you needed, instead of just the usual 2 bottles only complimentary water per day. The free and accessible drinking water on each floor was fantastic.
#6 The fridge kept drinks COLD.
#7 Hotel offered reasonable rates for laundry (50k vnd per kg)
1. Too much strong bugspray smell on my bed, coming from either the mattress or the frame (changing out all sheets and pillows didn't rid of the bugspray smell, so must've been mattress or bedframe). It gave me headaches and made it hard for me to breathe. But, the good side is that there were no mosquitoes/only few mosquitoes.
2. Hand-held shower instead of hands-free shower in the bathroom. But, the good side is that water pressure was decent and i always had nice *hot* water when i needed it
3. The sink was weird because the sink spicket had barely any clearance over the sink, so there wasn't enough room for me to put both my hands under the running sink water (i had to cup the water in one hand to pour over the other hand)
4. hotel charges 3% fee if you pay for the room using credit card, and this either conveyed to me when i booked, or was not conveyed in a way that i was able to easily see this info. Either way, it came as a surprise to me. But, the hotel staff were incredibly understanding and gave me an extra couple days to get my debit card working to pull cash from an ATM to pay by VND (the hotel only take VND if you pay by cash, and they do not do any money exchange, like some other Hoi An hotels i have stayed at). I just had to pay the first few nights, and then i paid the remaining nights after 2 days when i finally got my atm card working
5. no pool, but this is something that was made clear in hotel description, so i was not surprised about it
6. The room size was smaller than what i'm accustomed to when staying in other (more expensive) hotels in Hoi An; but the room was not so small that i felt cramped.. i think because the space is well utilized
Overall, the pros far outweighed the cons, and i would consider staying at this hotel again if i didn't need a swimming pool and the bugspray use was toned down.
Můžete si vybrat z 10 věcí a přinesou Vám cokoli si vyberete.
The staff welcomed us in a really nice way and helped us to organize our activities. They were also on call 24h in case of need. Our room was pleasant, clean, with all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was super good. We also did a very nice walking tour organized by the hotel chain. I highly recommend this place
Nothing
I had a fantastic time at the Hoianese Quiet Old Town Hotel - perfectly located and a staff team (especially Ivy) who could not do enough for you!
The breakfast options were fantastic and delicious and the AC was really strong, it had a great and easy laundry service as well as a very easy to contact WhatsApp chat that was very responsive with any question I had.
I didn’t do any of the tours that they organise but they looked really interesting to take part in.
Overall a fantastic hotel with great amenities in a superb location to enjoy the delights of Hoi An and Da Nang!
