Overall the hotel was decent, the location was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was reasonable. We stayed there as it was close to the ferry terminal for our trip to Mackinaw Island.
However, the room was disappointing due to the lack of facitities to make a drink, with not even a bottle of water provided in the room.
The pool was poor and the hot tub outside was not very clean. For the price paid I would say it was not value for money. The hotel offering in the area is not great, we will try the Holiday Inn next time and see if that's any better!

I was in a dark room facing the parking lot.
It was very clean and comfortable.
Very new, very clean and a terrific staff. The rooms were comfortable, safe and ample parking and there’s a terrific bar/grill in the lobby with very good food and excellent prices. Although it was cold,I enjoyed the balcony and lake view from our room.

All the loud Girl Scouts whose mother’s didn’t control them whatsoever! Made our experience horrible! Tried 3 times to go to spa for 4 hours and children playing with water toys for hours! No towels and this was early season.Hotel should have adults only from 8-9 or 9-10 pm on weekends
We love Lisa at the front desk! Checking in realized I booked the wrong night. It was late, everyone was tired, and Lisa got it figured out before I had time to panic. We were checked in and ready to go in minutes. She was so kind, helpful, and we couldnt have been more appreciative of her quick response to my mistake. Thank you Lisa!!!
