The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pickup and drop off service on arrival/departure to Hakuba Goryu bus stop. Freshly prepared western breakfast was simple but nutritious. A few good eateries nearby for dinner.
The steep uphill walk to Escal Plaza and return with ski equipments were treacherous as the road was icy. Although Onsen facility was available, we had to walk a distance to its sister hotel to use it 😰

The proper was a short walk, maybe 300m away from Goryu ski resort which meant perfect and easy access! There was a dry room downstairs for all our ski gear too which was very handy. The staff were exceptional!! Sarah and Kayla were so helpful with finding our way around Hakuba and helping when I became sick. They also made a very nice breakfast in the morning :) 10/10 will be staying here again!

They made it with local ingredients (at least that’s what they said) and it’s very tasty- eggs and protein and rice and fruits and they provided coffee tea and juice and cereal
It could be a little less pricey. The room is a bit small for two people but I understand it’s a popular spot and really close to the ski slopes.
Walking distance from the Goryu Resort. Very convenient location.
One of our rooms, the water didn't work. Couldn't take a shower or flush the toilet. Other 2 rooms worked well.
We loved our stay at junior mint. The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The place was also just what we wanted. So homey.

Super cosy stay at Hotel Junior Mint! Michelle was such a warm and accommodating host that it felt more like a homestay than a hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean (excellent shower pressure, and we slept deeply in the bed!) We enjoyed the hearty breakfast every morning before skiing.
Location was fantastic and staff were welcoming and helpful. good drying room for storing ski gear. Easy access to local restaurants
Small bathroom
The guest house was in a great location. Only about a 300 metre walk to the lifts at Goryu, and when it snowed we could ski home to the door. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always went "above and beyond"
The beds were very hard
