Nice hotel to relax and close to the port for excursions.
Pros:

The hotel staff is friendly, the pool is nice, breakfeast is excellent. We liked the location because it is close to the port, so that is usefull to take the water taxi or go diving.

A safe stay
Pros:

Although Galapagos is a Spanish-speaking region, the staff's clear and easy-to-understand English was very helpful. The rooms were clean. There were many families, which made me feel at ease. The breakfast was also delicious.

Pros:

This was our second stay at the Ninfa while island hopping. The hotel had all we needed and was close to the ferries and main street. Great breakfasts too.

Fijne schone slaapkamers, lieve dames van de schoonmaak. Goede locatie

Cons:

Schoonmaak algehele ruimtes zoals het zwembad en de bar. Ligbedden zwembad worden niet schoongemaakt terwijl er duidelijk vlekken op zitten. Asbakken staan nog bij het zwembad van de vorige dag. Idem voor de bar waar de lege glazen van de dag ervoor nog tot 2 uur ‘s middags er staan.

Ontbijt viel ook tegen als je rond 9 uur aankwam werd er niks vers bijgevuld. Dame van de eieren zit op een stoel als je binnenkomt en gaat weer zitten als ze klaar is om vervolgens een filmpje te gaan kijken met hoorbaar achtergrondgeluid. Geen gastvrije service die je in een 4 sterren hotel verwacht.

Good Value for Money
Pros:

I loved that the hotel had bikes for us to use and also that they provided towels for the pool and the beach. The restaurant was lovely and the food was really good. I loved sitting out at the bar in the afternoon. Staff were amazing.

Cons:

The hot water in the shower was very sketchy. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not. And one time there was no water at all.

- Location is perfect, right in the city centre and 5 minutes walk to the main pier;
- They have upgraded my room which was a very pleasant bonus;
- The hotel has a relatively large area and all necessary facilities, free water and coffee most of the day, maps, laundry services, restaurant, bar, pool, outdoor seating area, my room had a nice balcony, an iron and complementary snacks in addition to everything you usually expect;
- Pre- and post communication, as well as the main reception communication was very helpful and professional.

Cons:

- Cleanliness was lacking, I have found someone’s hair multiple times in my bed, towels and shower room; shower door had rust and stains, and potentially mold (not sure if it was mold or just rust); floors were wiped poorly and had stains.
- The hotel has very poor sound isolation, there was a party until 2am in the city during one of the nights and I could hear everything even with the earplugs in.
- The level of hospitality provided by the staff varied. I had a very nice receptionist who checked me in, and a very nice lady at the breakfast, for example. Some staff, however, lacked understanding of good hospitality - the cook during breakfast was not very pleasant to interact with, was unresponsive to my ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’, and demonstratively put my omelette plate on top of a coffee plate (?) when it was ready, same with the person (guard?) that was at reception during the party night, who did not speak proper English, and was unhappy when I called reception at night to ask about the noise. Not sure what the problem of these specific people was, but such attitudes do not reflect well on the hotel.

Tiene cosas buenas y cosas por mejorar
Pros:

El personal de limpieza fue muy amable , los del mostrador no tanto y poco informativos . La piscina le encantó a mi hijo .

Cons:

La ubicación porque para salir tenías que salir por una calle muy estrecha sin vereda y por la que pasaban carros, por lo que con niños pequeños era un horror. También creo que fue demasiado caro para lo tan poco que ofrecían

We loved the location . Right near the harbour , restaurants and shops. Not noisy at all . Also it’s only small so it never felt crowded at the restaurant or pool.
