The breakfasts here were excellent (choose between a typical Costa Rican option, an American option, or a more continental option), and they started being served early, too, which is nice for if you have an early morning wildlife tour somewhere. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the afternoons when no one else was there, and each room has two chairs outside it so you can look out onto the garden and watch the hummingbirds and other avian life pass by. There were also sloths in the parking lot trees! The location is very convenient; about 20-30 minutes from places like Mistico Park, Natura Park, and La Fortuna waterfall, 10 minutes from Sloth's Territory, 5 minutes from all of the restaurants in town (or up to 20 minutes if you decide to walk, which is very doable). We appreciated being in town and having multiple options close at hand for good restaurants, but we also liked that this place is a little tucked away so that we didn't feel like we were right in the middle of the action. There was a drying rack in our room that came in handy after we got rained on, and there was also an electric kettle and a minifridge and a hat stand/coatrack. Parking was ample and we never had trouble finding (or getting out of) a spot.

Me alojé tres noches en abril 2026 en una habitación súper amplia, con cama extragrande, equipada con lo indispensable, que daba a un jardín hermoso con gran piscina. Todo limpio y muy bien mantenido. Personal muy amable. Desayuno variado. La ubicación me resultó óptima para moverme a pie y hacer los tours.
El hotel me resultó muy bonito y funcional, aunque caro en comparación con hoteles de similar estilo y categoría en el resto de latinoamérica.

We saw more animals and birds in the hotel territory than in the natural park.🤣 A sloth, opossum, hummingbirds, huge iguanas… The pool had a volcano view and such a good and pure vibe all around the property😍 Loved everything.
