Comfortable with lots of character and excellent staff
Pros:

It has lots of character and is very central. The rooms were comfortable and smart. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed and at home.

Friendly, welcoming and comfortable hotel. Good value.
Pros:

Great location, right next to the station. My room was clean, very comfortable, and in good repair. The common areas of the hotel were well maintained and comfortable. The pantry rooms with additional tea, coffee and chilled water would be a welcome benefit for those staying for a longer period. My room was quiet despite a boisterous group being in the bar when I arrived. The service both at reception and within the restaurant was friendly and welcoming if not perfectly efficient. The Wednesday steak night meal was excellent!
