It’s located in a quiet area, walkable distance to the central beach area. The hotel is very new and neat. Great value for money. The staff were nice and friendly.
The internet was slow and there was no sign to use for letting staff know if you wanted the room cleaned or not.
The building has a modern exterior and is located in a quiet, local neighborhood away from the busy tourist center. Fortunately, the bed was not hard but just normal and comfortable to sleep on.
As a Genius frequent traveler with a professional background in the hospitality industry, I found that Q Boutique Hotel fails to live up to its name. The room was not up to standard, featuring a large leakage spot on the bathroom ceiling, visible mold growth on the window ledge wall, and stained curtains—despite a laundry service being right across the street. Hygiene was subpar; the area under the bed was dusty and the toilet fixtures still had blue plastic packaging on them, which is unhygienic and encourages bacteria growth. Furthermore, the TV was tiny, noisy moldy fridge and the Wi-Fi was very unstable.
The hotel house rules regarding potential damages are very aggressive, demanding full replacement value instead of repair costs, yet they provide no protective mats for the coffee tray and only one stool for seating. While they are quick to hold guests liable, they refuse any liability themselves. The owner was dismissive and unhelpful when we asked about a scooter rental. The atmosphere is so cold and unprofessional; there was no welcome, only a demand for passports, and no "thank you" or "goodbye" upon checkout. We didn't even feel welcome enough to discuss extending our stay upon arrival, which we had originally intended to do. As a result, the hotel lost extra potential earnings. The breaking point was being refused a small third bottle of water (4,000 VND/ USD 0.15) needed for medication; such a stingy attitude is a major business failure.
Regarding housekeeping, we explicitly requested the room not be cleaned before 4:00 PM due to specific health issues. However, the cleaner repeatedly tried to come earlier and forcing us to remind her of the 4:00 PM agreement every time. She was very unfriendly about it, and several times the bed was left completely untouched, not even neatly made.
Communication is often handled by a small child (5-6 years old) and daily piano lessons in the lobby disrupt guest arrivals.

they cancelled my booking for no reason
Large comfortable bed and luxury bed sheets, everything clean and almost brand new. Calm neighborhood.
Some rooms had window towards other house and very small distance between (no view and sunlight). But if you don´t care about natural sunlight then it is okey.
It was clean, quiet and a nice neighbourhood away from the tourists spots.
I went to the hotel the day before to see if I could check in early. The lady said that was fine at 10am. I got there at 11 and they tried to give me a totally different room to the superior I had booked. Box room with a small window round the back with no light coming in at all. If you look at the superior they look great.
So she said the room I booked would be ready at 1pm, extremely awkward as I lots of work to do and that was the reason I asked for an early check in the day before. So I asked if I could see the room, she took me there and again no balcony but there was a big window. Obviously they never had a superior room available. So ok I took it on the chin and asked if I could leave my bags in the room as I had a lot of expensive equipment in it.
No problem, when I went back at 1pm there was no one at reception but my room card was left on the desk for me to pick up. Anybody could have picked that key up and got my bags out of the room and I would have lost about £3k in belongings and £2k cash float. The next morning when leaving I was still charged the balcony room price. It wasn’t much but professionalism is extremely important when you’re dealing with peoples belongings and the availability of rooms. Q boutique lacked badly in both. Also the WiFi was forever bouncing one minute good, most of the time very bad.
There are good of furniture, lovely room, especially the heater shower room is super good 👍👍👍
