La struttura si presenta bene. Bella la piscina. Ottima colazione. Personale gentile. Però…..la mattina non c’era acqua in bagno. Ci hanno fatto fare la doccia in un’altra camera. Al rientro nella ns camera abbiamo visto tanti piccoli insetti sulle lenzuola. Oltretutto pizzicavano. Ci hanno cambiato la camera. Mi spiace ma non ci tornerei. Costa caro rispetto a quanto ti danno.

Only two things I can fault are toilet spray didn’t work and my lovely ceiling fan were asap broken ,shame as they would have add to my colonial experience

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel La Villa war rundum wunderbar und bleibt uns in bester Erinnerung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Von der ersten Minute an wurden wir mit einer Herzlichkeit empfangen, die den Aufenthalt sofort besonders gemacht hat. Das gesamte Team war stets hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und immer gut gelaunt – man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen.
Das Hotel selbst ist ein wunderschön restauriertes Gebäude im französischen Kolonialstil. Das Haus wurde ursprünglich Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts von kambodschanischen Handelsleuten erbaut und hat seinen historischen Charme bis heute bewahrt. Gleichzeitig wurde es mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail renoviert, sodass sich Geschichte und Komfort auf sehr harmonische Weise verbinden.
Ein weiteres Highlight ist der traumhafte Garten. Er ist eine grüne Oase der Ruhe und lädt zum Entspannen und Abschalten ein. Besonders angenehm ist der große Swimmingpool, der ausreichend Platz bietet, um ein paar Bahnen zu schwimmen oder sich einfach im Wasser abzukühlen. Rund um den Pool gibt es gemütliche Plätze zum Lesen, Ausruhen oder einfach zum Genießen der entspannten Atmosphäre.
Auch kulinarisch hat uns das Hotel überzeugt: Das Essen war durchweg sehr gut, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Besonders positiv fanden wir außerdem den konsequenten Einsatz umweltfreundlicher Materialien. So wird beispielsweise vollständig auf Plastikflaschen verzichtet – ein schönes Zeichen für nachhaltiges und verantwortungsbewusstes Reisen.
Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ideal. Direkt am Fluss gelegen, sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu erreichen, und Tuktuks stehen jederzeit in ausreichender Zahl zur Verfügung, sodass man sich problemlos durch die Stadt bewegen kann.
Insgesamt können wir das Hotel La Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Cons:

Wenn man wirklich ganz genau hinschauen möchte, könnte man höchstens die Dusche erwähnen: Sie besteht aus einem einfachen Sprühkopf ohne feste Halterung. Für uns war das jedoch nur eine kleine Randnotiz und hat den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck unseres Aufenthalts in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt.
