Pros:

Bel établissement, un peu retiré, mais offrant une vue magnifique sur le vignoble de la vallée du Douro.
Cadre très agréable et très bon accueil

Pros:

The Hotel is in an amazing location with 360° views of the area, with a lovely intimate feeling.
The Train station is not too far away, by Taxi, and is a great point to explore the rest of the Valley.
Breakfast was good, with a mix of hot and cold items.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the Hotel as a whole looks tired, with unstable flooring slabs, peeling and marked paint work, and dirty glass/windows.
The other thing we wish was explained more was the availability of Taxis, which can only be booked via reception and only accepts cash, approx €15 to Regua train station.

Some issues with both food and room. But overall okay. Wouldn’t call it the most amazing stay but was good.

Pros:

The views were fantastic, the food was good, and the staff were lovely.

Cons:

The property was in need of basic repairs and maintenance (our room had a hole in the wall, the curtains were torn, side table was broken, the lounge chairs at the pool were damaged and very uncomfortable). It was not 4-star in this respect.

Boa localização.
Pequeno almoço agradável .
Boa vista, é pena os postes de electricidade descaracterizar a paisagem.
Restaurante pareceu bom

Cons:

Falta de manutenção nas aéreas envolventes, jardins etc.
Os vidros da piscina estão todos sujos, não se consegue admirar a paisagem.
Algumas cadeiras da piscina são muito desconfortáveis.
Os quartos são demasiado pequenos.

Pros:

Gutes Frühstück.
Schöne Lage, wenn man den Hügel erklommen hat, nichts für schlechte Autofahrer.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist ungepflegt, es fehlt an vielem. Lieblos und eher düster. Pool mit drei kleinen Schirmen.
Kein Viersternhotel. Preis/Leistung ungenügend, viel zu teuer.
