Old world charm
Pros:

Superb location and exceptional hospitality from all the team. This hotel has old world charm and history and a beautiful swimming pool.

Cons:

It was unfortunate that a group of boisterous guests were watching sport on TV at the pool while the gospel band were playing.

Pros:

Comfortable room, good amenities. Breakfast and lunch were very nice. Dinner I didn't enjoy as much and it was expensive.
The desk staff was a bit rude and pushy when we didn't realize they hadn't charged my card when they took it, even asking us to vacate our room when we said we would come down to pay when we came to dinner an hour later. It was strange.

Pros:

The common areas are quite good

Cons:

The staff at the bar are inattentive. Instead of paying attention to the customers, they chat amongst themselves with their elbows on the counter or look at their phones. Sometimes you have to wave repeatedly to get their attention.
Better staff selection and training would be needed. This isn't a problem unique to the Mille Collines; it happens in many hotels in Kigali.

My experience is that its a good hotel and will definitely visit next time I am in Rwanda
Pros:

The room was clean and bed well made. For breakfast tea is very good especially the spiced tea. Dinner, I had chicken which was very tasty and big portion enough my overall experience was good.

Cons:

Need more variety of fruits. The entertainment at the pool has very loud music which can be disturbing in the night when one needs some quiet time

I loved everything.
Pros:

The history. I watched the movie Hotel Rwanda and always wanted to stay there. The view was beautiful, food , cocktails and service was exceptional.

Cons:

Nothing. The bathrooms are dated, but as I went there for the history, it was not an issue.

Pros:

Eine sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft. Mein Zimmer hatte einen schönen Balkon mit einem tollen Blick auf Kigali. Sehr schön gestaltet ist die Außenanlage mit Pool, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Das Personal ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sicherlich nicht die günstigste Übernachtungsoption in Kigali, dafür erhält man aber auch ein Leistungs-Niveau, das mit jedem besseren Hotel in Europa mithalten kann.

Pros:

Do que mais gostei foi dos funcionarios que são muito prestáveis e atenciosos.
Os quartos são bons, espaçosos com boas varandas e tudo muito limpo.

Cons:

Do que menos gostei foi do pequeno almoço dado o preço do aluguer e o nível do hotel achei-o pouco interessante.

Short stay but excellent overall.
Pros:

The room was comfortable, with AC and blackout curtains which helped to keep the room cool. It had a very nice view from the balcony. The breakfast was varied and tasty; the made to order omelette very nice.
I didn't get to use the pool but it looked very clean and inviting. The staff are very good there. I was travelling alone but I did ask if they have family rooms which they don't, only adjoining rooms. Would love to stay with my family sometime but not sure if it's ideal for a family stay with young kids. Great stay, thanks.

Cons:

I can't think of anything I didn't like. Everything was really very good. As good as any similar rated hotel in the UK and better than many.
