A fantastic family stay with incredible food, stunning mountain views, and a New Year’s Eve celebrat
Pros:

Amazing stay. The food was outstanding and the views of the mountains were absolutely stunning — even in winter. The kids loved it, which always makes the whole experience more relaxed for us.

New Year’s Eve was on another level. The party was unreal — great atmosphere, brilliantly organised, and a fantastic way to bring in the New Year.

We’d happily come back.

Cons:

We stayed in December, so it was cold and a bit rainy — obviously not something the hotel can control.

That said, the overall experience was very good. The indoor pool was heated and genuinely enjoyable, especially given the weather. It was clean, well maintained, and a nice space to relax in after being out in the cold.

If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be adding a heated outdoor pool. In winter especially, a warm outdoor pool (even in the rain) would elevate the experience from “very good” to something truly memorable. There’s something special about being outside in warm water when it’s cold in the air — it would really set the hotel apart.

Overall though, a solid stay and a good experience despite the winter weather.

Séjour incroyable – équipe en or !
Pros:

Séjour incroyable en famille !!!
L’hôtel est top, mais ce sont surtout les personnes qui y travaillent qui font toute la différence.
Mention spéciale à Mounir alias Mounir Express, rapide, efficace et toujours avec le sourire.
Big up à Rachida, la responsable ménage, pour la propreté impeccable.
Jawad le barman, ultra sympa, toujours de bonne humeur.
Sans oublier l’équipe du SPA …
Et gros clin d’œil au monsieur de la barrière à l’entrée (chef de l’entrée de l’hôtel, même si j’ai oublié son prénom) : toujours accueillant, respectueux et professionnel.
Franchement, équipe en or, séjour au top, on s’est sentis comme à la maison.
Merci pour tout, on reviendra c’est sûr !

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and entertainment
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Pickalbatros Aqua Fun Club. From the start, Nora kept me fully informed before and during our stay, especially regarding transport arrangements, which made everything completely stress free.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was beautifully presented, and the cleaners were friendly and very professional throughout our stay. All of the staff were kind, welcoming and always willing to help.
The animation team were fantastic, such great energy and they really made the holiday special. A special mention to Sara, Fleura, Ibrahim and Hakim. Sara in particular was so helpful and lovely at the kids club and took such great care of our daughter. There were also several other team members, including the singer and others whose names I unfortunately did not catch, but they were all equally brilliant and appreciated. The evening entertainment was fun and inclusive, and you could see how much effort they put in.

The water slides and pools were fantastic, with so much choice for all ages. The food was excellent with so much variety every day. Everything felt well organised, with regular hygiene checks and super efficient staff.

The spa was also excellent. I had a lovely massage and a very thorough facial. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and really add to the overall experience.

Cons:

Honestly, very little. If I had to mention anything, at busy times some areas could feel a little lively, but that is to be expected at a popular family resort. It did not take away from our overall experience.

The only thing I appreciated was the porter Ahmed's help and also Yousef.

Where do I start? I booked this for my birthday and after booking I noticed it said the main pool was closed. I messaged the hotel directly and asked them if the Aqua park will be open along with the indoor pool to which they replied it will be. To our shock the Aqua pool was closed during our entire stay. But anyway on the first day when my husband and I got there a lady with short hair assigned us a family room on the ground floor with garden view. However what I paid for for was a Deluxe double room with pool view and even though they stated it's an upgrade it wasn't. The room we initially got was hideous, dark and dingy. We went back to reception and I showed her the picture of the room I booked. I asked can she give us the room we paid for and I asked thrice if she is sure she's giving us the correct room and she kept saying yes it's the deluxe double room. Suprise suprise it wasn't. Instead we got a standard twin room with two single bed and a child's bed in the room with our view being the children's water slide. The porter made a request which we heard for ourself for someone to come and push the beds together and remove the child bed. At this point we just agreed on the room hoping someone would come but the entire day no one came at all. The shower in that room was overflowing with a broken light hanging over our head. My husband had to clean the shower floor and there was dirt just floating about everywhere.

That same night my husband went to the reception and informed the receptionist about the condition of the room and he was asked to go back at 10am in the morning the next day. It was now Saturday and my birthday so my husband went back to speak to the manager to sort the room out. He was asked to take a seat and waited for two hours. When the manager did come at 12 he said no one informed him there was anyone waiting. Anyway Yousef did hear my husband out and helped us finally get a different room.

A truly exceptional getaway
Pros:

We had a really good stay. The team was warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Our whole group was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade from standard rooms to family rooms. The food options were great throughout the day, with plenty of choices for both adults and children. There were activities and entertainment at different times, which kept things fun. The free shuttle to town was very convenient, and special thanks to Rita from housekeeping for keeping our rooms spotless every day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Cons:

Everything was good, except that the activity bookings at reception were significantly more expensive than booking directly online. It would be great if the team could partner with vendors who offer more competitive prices for activities like quad biking, camel rides, and the fire show.

Lhotel était entièrement en travaux c une honte et c'était pas mentionne nul part.
Le dérangement lié au son des machines et à l'odeur dérangeante des travaux.
Aucun toboggan ne marchait et les enfants sont venus pour ça !!!! /
L'accueil était catastrophique
Ils nous ont laissé attendre 1h environ le temps de verifier le règlement sur booking alors qu'on leur avait montré la preuve du règlement sur place avec le SMS de la banque et le mail de booking... Et on était fatigués par le voyage.
Aucin sens de l'accueil ni du témoignage de la confiance au client.

Perfect for adults and children who enjoy water slides
Pros:

The staff definitely made all the difference but also the cuisine. Superb service and friendly staff specially Younes and Ahmed. Ghita also ensured the cleanliness. Indoor pool was very welcomed at this time of the year (February).

Cons:

Construction noise specially right beside the SPA which made me decide not to take any treatment as I wouldn’t be able to fully relax. Majority of water slides and some other places of the hotel were under maintenance which I can understand given I was there in February but something to bear in mind due to the noise.

Staff simpático e prestável , óptimo resort para famílias

Os quartos eram muito espaçosos e as camas eram grandes e boas .
A zona dos escorregas era muito boa , para crianças e adultos

Agradecer a nora e a rapariga que estava na quinta de manhã e hoje de manhã na receção (marcou a nossa massagem e transfer) e a menina do housekeeping do nosso piso , todas muito simpáticas ! Obrigada

O restaurante a reposição era lenta e um pouco desorganizado, só tinha uma pessoa a fazer massas quando tinham imensas pessoas na fila.
