The location beside the loch was lovely the dining staff were not very friendly most of the time, especially a young female waitress who did not eve smile a welcome

Cons:

The internal areas were cold including the bedroom and lounge areas the the dining room nor well lit at all, a rather gloomy place

Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel is centrally located on the way up to Inverness without the hassle of tourists further north.

Bed was really small, neither of us had a good night sleep.

Cons:

It’s old, shower takes ages to get warm, no drying facilities for wet shoes en clothes. A la carte breakfast on the first morning was good but the self service buffet breakfast was bad.
