Pros:

Lovely hotel inside. Good location to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs area.
Room was pleasant and clean.

Cons:

Heating didn't appear to be working in the room?
It wasn't cold....just a little chilly at night.

I only had one meal.....and it wasn't great. I had the Cumberland Sausage with Caramelised Onion gravy and Mash. The onions weren't Caramelised...it was just a simple onion gravy that was too thick.
The mash was a bit stodgy and had lumps...all in all, not very good.

Athmosphärisch toll, aber mit einigen Mankos

Die Lage war prima, direkt am See. Das Hotel ist ein altes Anwesen, was von außen entsprechend ansprechend aussieht. Das Frühstück war recht gut.

Cons:

Im Zimmer war einiges kaputt Handtuchhalter an der Tür, hat mein Freund gerichtet), der Perlator vom Wasserhahn viel mir gleich in die Hand, hab ich dann gerichtet. Das Zimmer war eiskalt und die Heizung funktionierte nicht. In den Nachttischlampen sammelte sich der Staub und die Spinnweben.

Stay on the Bonnie shores of Loch Lommond
Pros:

The location was perfect. Just close enough to the city of Glasgow to get to the airport and just remote enough to enjoy the tranquility of Loch Lomond. Loved the lounge areas. Tons of cozy and comfortable spots to relax with a book, friends and a cocktail. Dinner was very good. James was a delight and couldn’t have been more personable and helpful. His mate was well done as well, however I did not catch his name. We had a large group of women and everyone loved this spot.

Tolle Unterkunft, muss man mal erlebt haben in Scotland
Pros:

Schönes altes Herrenhaus, sehr schottisch, gut gelegen am Loch Lomond, direkt vorm Haus ist eine Anlegestelle für Schiffe. Man kann im Haus gut essen oder in der Nähe in einem Pub, in einer umgebaute Kirche.

Cons:

Leider roch es etwas modrig in unserem Zimmer, ist halt ein altes Haus und schottische Wetter

Die Lage des Hotels am Loch Lomond ist außergewöhnlich. Das Haus war früher bestimmt einmal sehr schön und gepflegt.

Cons:

Sehr kleine Speisekarte im restaurant, aber sehr bemühte und freundliche Kellner. Etwas trostloses Frühstücksbuffet; kein individuell cooked breakfast.
