Rooms are in front of the sea, that's nice. My budget room was clean, no complaints here. But these are the only good things there...
1) booking.com has declined my first request on bungalow. Finally, it was not available. I was riding a bicycle the whole day through the rain and when I came, my booking was canceled
2) for $25 you will have a low quality room with stains on walls, a mattress that was impossible to sleep on, the pillows were so hard and uncomfortable that I slept without them, shared bathroom (but with hot water). No water. No toileties. Just a towel. But if you have a cup they will refill it. No ac, just a fan.
3) some objects there are under construcrion so a bit later then 7 am somebody started drilling and making noice.
4) overpriced dinner price. The option is regular portion of chicken, and rice or fries, pancake and juice. I just clarified and did not order.
5) no outside food is available in accordance with their rules.
6) any thing you need can be charged.
For less then that price I got much more better rooms in other places. Even a hostel in Moalboal was in better quality of service and more client focused.
Do not recommend.
Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit
Die einfachen Hütten am Strand waren wirklich sehr Basic. Wir sind dann in ein Zimmer mit Bad gewechselt, was für eine Nacht absolut in Ordnung war.
Wir haben in einem kleinen, aber unglaublich gemütlichen Zimmer direkt am Meer übernachtet. Schon vom Bett aus konnten wir auf das Wasser blicken und wurden vom wundervollen Rauschen der Wellen begleitet. Einfach traumhaft.
Marilyn hat uns mit so viel Herzlichkeit empfangen, dass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Sinja hat uns mit ihrem großartigen Essen verwöhnt, und Emanuel hat sich stets mit einem Lächeln um alles gekümmert. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders schön war der lustige und gesellige Abend, den wir gemeinsam mit ihnen und ihren Freunden verbringen durften. Ein Erlebnis, das uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, die uns aber noch eine ganz Weile in schöner Erinnerung bleiben wird. Vielen Dank
Great location and great staff. Has bikes for rent and the owner knows all the good spots! The food is also very good and the coffee was solid! Can swim directly outside the room and enjoy the ocean sounds at night.
Staff were super nice, welcoming, and helpful. The complex has a locked entry so we felt very safe. The food was also delicious.
The location was great also because we were far enough from Santander that it was quiet but close enough that it didn't take long to travel there or Oslob via bus.
It would have been nice to have the drinking water accessible outside of the staff-only kitchen and for a menu with updated options and prices.
The location is very good . Our car can park inside the compound. The view is fantastic. food is good. We are very lucky the owner, Marilyn was there we finally met . She also sees to it that the guests / us are comfortable in their place. The staff are helpful. It is also pet friendly.
It's has low water pressure when taking a shower. The frame / box for the remote control below the TV give a little uneasy to pass by when switching on and off the Aircon .

The stuff was amazing. Especially the owner. They gave us a lot off tips what to do there. They have a restaurant there. You can rent a motorbike. The view from the windonw was perfect for sunset watching.
Location and price. Although price could be a little bit better knowing CR is shared.
"Brenda room 2nd floor" Bed had bedbugs. But the owner understood and addressed it right away when we checked out. Next time, try to nap first to see if there are bed bugs or not.
Staff are very nice and accommodating. We love to stay in the place and peaceful. We also love their dogs that are so adorable

First it takes 20 minute past Santander. No shops or anything much around. Booked for 3 teenagers 2 adults. Booked Bungalow (as it's called) for the 3 kids and Seaview for adults. Well where do I start. Seaview old and dinghy so asked for the Jap seaview and was told it was booked. Was not as none even slept in there. So stayed in other bungalow room next to kids. Toilet smell all throughout bungalow to the point of wanting to vomit. Told to wipe and put toilet paper in bin. Door handle ofbath/toilet broken also kid was trapped in. Sister(owner) is in Amsterdam (hence writing of it in places. Photos of her (Marylyn MDF) in bungalow. Very ery dirty and uncomfortable Pillowslike rocks and smell like dog ,Air conditioning not cold AT ALL.Felt muggy dirty n sticky. Exploiting tourists with excessive prices and surcharge to bring food in. The staff do try but are obviously restricted by owners lack of attention , care or funds.
Maybe if she put more effort and money into her business instead of being so VAIN this could be a nice place..

Right on the beach
Smells like Dog poo due to the on site kennels near the Harley room. My bed had small poop droppings on it, suspected to be from the lizards that were able to get inside through a stick open bathroom window. The shower doesn’t work. The heater kicks on full blast and will burn you. They set up karaoke and blast it right outside until very late hours. The toilet didn’t flush
The room on ocean view really nice
On booking .com it was confusing saying the bathroom was private&share.i expected private but no it wasn't but outside 25mts away.

Don’t stay there
bedroom was lovely and clean with a great view
we booked a private bathroom room on booking.com but when we arrived we were told there wasn’t any private bathroom rooms. we were a little upset as I had been quite unwell and wanted to have the comfort of a private bathroom. the staff were very apologetic and lovely about the situation just a shame booking.com had it advertised incorrectly.
