Very bad experience. Felt like I was scammed

Cons:

Accommodation cancelled my booking short notice (5pm on the day of check-in). No alternative accommodation offered. It was such stressful especially I have 2 small kids with me. It was already late when they informed me about the cancellation. Prices of other accommodations was already high. Booking.com was also not very much of a help. Cannot offer accommodation as well. So bad experience.

A única coisa de jeito neste alojamento é estar em frente ao estádio.

Cons:

Eu não sou uma pessoa muito piquinhas com as comodidades, mas este foi o sítio mais nojento onde eu já fiquei. O quarto cheirava a tabaco. Os lençóis claramente não foram mudados pois estavam cheios de cabelos e terra. A cozinha era completamente nojenta. Tivemos de fazer todas as refeições fora pois era impossível cozinhar ali.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic,
The price ,the decor ,the staff
We stayed in room 1
Amazing
We had a ensuite,with a bath shower and fireplace in there.
The bedroom had a dressing table a TV ,coffee table and 2 chairs and a beautiful mirror
The hotel is opposite the cathedral,so beautiful views out of the window
This was a very good surprise,with the price as i wasn't expecting to much
I will definitely be back .

Lock the main door at night!!

We booked here for a present for our Son's 18th Birthday for a few nights to go to a Liverpool match which is across the road from the Stadium 🤩

Cons:

On his first night he and his girlfriend were left feeling scared as someone was shouting outside their room and tried to get into their room numerous times 😰! I rang the accommodation and the lady on the phone was very apologetic thankfully the main door was locked for the other 3nights and they enjoyed the rest of their stay. The TV did not work in their room either.

I am genuinely shocked that Booking.com allows this property to be listed on its platform.

The overall experience was absolutely terrible. I had prepaid for a room and, upon arrival, found the property to be in a shocking state. I contacted the person via WhatsApp, who instructed us to go to Room 3, only to find that the room was already occupied. We were then told to go to Room 6, but there was no key available.

At this point, we had no choice but to leave the property. The communication throughout the experience was completely unacceptable, and the person I dealt with on WhatsApp was extremely aggressive and abusive, including directing a highly offensive racist slur towards me. (Irish C***)

This was an appalling experience from start to finish. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property and I am very disappointed that Booking.com permitted it to be advertised on their platform.

Awful one day experience
Pros:

Went with my two children for a three-night stay and booked some interesting places to visit, but only managed to spend a night there because there was loud music and swearing from the next room to the point that my kids were terrified and had to send a message to them to ask if we were safe, but no response. The place was dirty; there was a bag of McDonald's filled with chips in one of the drawers in the room. The carpet leading to the room was ripped open, and tools were left in front of the room. The roof was also leaking. The microwave was rusted inside, and my daughter nearly threw up when I opened it. The images on the website appear to be AI-modified. It was not the same in real life. Communication was terrible, but some of their staff came down to the site trying to rectify some of the issues, yet the whole vicinity was just a shambles. It looks like a shelter.

Cons:

The location was spot on, but the property was a let-down even with a for-sale notice.
