Great stay - Pepe 🦥 is adorable!
Pros:

Room was extremely clean & comfortable & the shower was excellent.
Very well stocked shared kitchen, with a great view of the volcano from the window - when it decided to show itself! 🧐
Great location in the middle of Downtown Fortuna.
But… the best thing was Pepe the sloth & his best friend the Iguana. They came out to see us every day❤️

Me encantó la habitación, la cama es amplia y muy cómoda. Buen estilo la decoración, las instalaciones son modernas; se nota que prestaron atención a detalles estéticos y no solo funcionales, lo que no se encuentra comunmente. El sector de la piscina es muy bonito y el ambiente del lugar es tranquilo, recomendado para familias o gente que busque descansar plácidamente y recargar energías para el día siguiente. El Wifi es buenísimo, en mi caso que viajo y trabajo fue una grata sorpresa. La Ubicación es insuperable, lejos del ruido de las calles principales, pero a 2 minutos caminando del centro de La Fortuna. Franklin, Melissa y todo el equipo son muy cordiales e hicieron mi estadía muy amena. Volvería sin duda. 100% recomendado.

Schöne, saubere Unterkunft mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten
Pros:

Geschmackvolle saubere Unterkunft, tolle Küche zum Selbstversorgen & schöner Pool ! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Freundliche Gastgeber und für 6 Doller kann man seine Wäsche waschen und trocknen.

Awesome spot with a great value, and really friendly and helpful hosts!!
Pros:

Great location. Close to food spots, very clean room and bathroom, enough towels, clean sheets, no bugs, hot water, and ac!

A decent place, but the environmental issues and ethical concerns overshadowed the stay.
Pros:

A friendly young host who is clearly working hard to improve the property.
Laundry service was very helpful—we could wash our entire wardrobe for just $5–6.
A swimming pool is under construction, which shows they are making upgrades.

Cons:

There is a sloth in the trees on-site, which initially seemed charming but started to feel like a bit of a gimmick. It raised ethical concerns about whether the sloth should really be in a proper forest habitat.
The biggest issue was the plumbing—the washing machine and even the waste from our shower and sink drained directly into a small stream behind the hotel. Given Costa Rica’s ecological reputation, this was very disappointing.
Because of the wastewater issue, we wouldn’t stay here again unless they address the plumbing concerns.

Rooms are missing some basic stuff. You have to ask for blankets on the beds, they only come with a sheet by default. No spare toilet paper or tissues. etc.

Nice place to stay in La Fortuna
Pros:

Franklin and his staff were helpful. The room was comfortable and seemed pretty new. Walking distance from the town centre. Pepe was hard to find, but we did eventually see him. There's a pool under construction. The kitchen was well stocked. They had laundry (washer and dryer) avaliable.

Cons:

Difficult to find. Google takes you to the right location, but there's no sign on the gate. The buildings transmitted some noise from people talking on the level below.
