This room, located in a private home in a residential part of Washington, DC, is exceptional. It's just a few minutes walk from Tenleytown, and close by American University, which my child attends. There's ample street parking. The room is large and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Same amenities as any hotel but in a space larger than most hotel rooms. The host is also easy to contact and enjoyable to talk to.

If you're after a tranquil base surrounded by trees and birdsong and a 30 minute bus ride from the monuments then this is the place for you.

We liked everything very much, spacious room and spacious bathroom, beautiful interior and most importantly large windows, on the second floor. The owner is polite, all agreements coincided with the offer for the check-in time, we met the owner in the morning, when we were leaving the house with our suitcases. A very pleasant place to stay. We used public transport to get to the city center very quickly, we left the car near the house, convenient.

The location was ideal. Very quiet, pretty close to many places in the city, worth seeing. The room was very comfortable, clean. The whole house is pleasant, cozy, stylish. All amenities were in good, workable conditions. And all this for a modest price. Sky, the host, is a very nice, friendly person, caring of the quests. My wife and myself are grateful to him for making our stay pleasurable. What else you could dream of on the three-days trip to Washington?

Pretty comfy place to stay for a night or two. It's a townhouse with a few rooms to rent. Quiet place has everything except kitchen. 15 min. walking to a street with restaurants and grocery.
