Cons:

Breakfast was way too basic and simple, with few choices. There weren't even eggs, and the only bread options were toast and banana bread. The banana bread was also unavailable on our third day.
The bathroom is too small and old. There weren't tooth brush and toothpaste.

Pros:

The proprietors and hosts, Kate and Bruey, supported by a wonderful team, make this a ski lodge where you feel truly welcomed and at home. We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, the warm embrace of the cocktail bar or lounge at the end of the day, the delicious dinners and the cloud like beds.

With underfloor heating, the bedrooms are warm and cozy, the showers are hot, and the whole lodge interior has been renovated to create a sense of retro cool, complete with vinyl lounge. That's vinyl records, not a vinyl covered lounge! The view from the dining area, out through snow covered trees, is gorgeous day and night.

We are already planning to return next year.

Pros:

The Bruey’s snow lodge is a true gem. Kate and Bruey were nothing short of amazing, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was a holiday to remember. Every question I had was met with a warm and extremely helpful response. The rooms were super comfortable, with decor and amenities made us feel relaxed and cosy. At the end of each day we took advantage of the three chillout areas with a cocktail or hot chocolate. The lodge is only a short walk to the closest chairlift, making it super convenient for hitting the slopes.

Pros:

Kate and Bruey are incredible hosts. They work so hard day in and day out to ensure we enjoyed our stay. From weeks before we arrived Kate was incredibly helpful with recommending restaurants, booking transportation, securing us lift passes, sending over rental links, etc. Tangram/Madarao in a hidden gem of fun ski routes, no lines, and the best mountain restaurant between lifts. Brueys is a special place I hope to come back to one day. Thank you Kate and Bruey for a memorable stay! Highly recommend
