Perfect little inn from r the Lake District
Pros:

This is a beautiful historic inn in the heart of the Lake District with incredibly nice staff, large rooms and good food.

Cons:

Well, it’s 300 years old and can’t be air conditioned! A fan helped; these old buildings are constructed to retain heat, not get rid of it.

Exceptional accommodation and service
Pros:

Beautifully appointed and fantastic staff - very accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful with GF options. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Cons:

There isn't anything I didn't like. The inn is a little bit out of the main centre of Keswick, but that was a positive for us because the town centre was too busy. Easy access to Catsbells carpark where we started our 5 day hike.

Breakfast was good.

Exceptional view from our bedroom
Pros:

View from "Mountain view bedroom" was amazing. Modern, comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Very quiet whilst we were there on a Wednesday and unfortunately dinner not served on Wednesdays, but plenty of choice of restaurants in nearby Keswick. Decor was very tasteful, breakfast good. We were the only guests in the building overnight plus one or two staff, very isolated situation but that is part of its charm.

Cons:

Only one member of staff on Reception when we arrived, engaged in long conversation, but she did apologise for our wait.

Fantastic little pub in a cracking location(check restaurant is open)
Pros:

Fantastic stay lovely location, amazing view from beer garden was fantastic
Had dinner here and the food was very good and serving sizes generous in my opinion

Cons:

My only complaints were the evening restraint was closed on the day we stayed and the last order for the bar was 8pm however the staff where communicated this very well before we arrived and upon arrival.
Staff were also very helpful and accommodating with recommendations

A destination foodie haven in the glorious countryside
Pros:

Spectacular Mountain View’s. A great location to be able to get out in the gorgeous countryside. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bedrooms are recently decorated and attractive. The bed was very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and was up there in memorable meals. The restaurant was an atmospheric setting.

Cons:

The narrow lanes need to be driven with caution, but it was great to feel way from it all, though only 10-15 minutes drive from Keswick.
