Location isn’t near the beach as described
We had a really clean and modern room and it was very spacious. The room had everything we needed and there was lots of storage as well. It was great value and the staff were really helpful with our queries and changed the kettle for us which didn’t work and booked us a taxi for the train station. There wasn’t much to do around here but we came mainly for the cave tours in phong nha. There are a few restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
We didn’t know there was a switch for the hot water until we left which would have been handy to know. The air con also needed to be turned on by a switch on the wall but we figured this out.

We liked the room: clean, new, bright.
Just a terrible hard bed. It seemed like we were just lying on the floor, we slept very badly, in the morning our whole body ached.

Actually all is good
A comfortable and spacious room, quiet and clean, in a good location. Helpful and friendly staff. Was very happy to stay here for a couple of nights.
There was a massive dark hole immediately above my shower where I think a vent was supposed to be. It was actually quite scary to shower under! No room cleaning (only a change of towels) over 3 nights.
Very clean room. Nice family that owns it. They were very helpful with getting us taxis and even gave us a plate of cut up watermelon.
