The location was real nice.
Being in the mansion house
The breakfast on the Sunday morning In the mansion house
We stayed in what we was told the best suite 249 in the mansion house. The cobwebs everywhere and dead insects was a-bit grim. The room was set up for one person which raised suspicion from my wife.
The shower screen opened outwards so when wet got the whole bathroom wet, also the shower just got everything wet.
Being a spa hotel was we thought an understatement, went to go and chill by the pool to find no where to lay or sit for that matter.
On the Monday morning we had a fire alarm go of which after going to reception found out to be a fire test which we didn’t get told about. Also on the Monday having to go to the new part of the hotel from the mansion house for breakfast was not great.
The location was close for work.
The peace and quiet
The pool was nice
Cost of the food in the restaurant for the limited selection it had and the service was slow.
Breakfast was excellent Room very good
Swimming Pool very good
Had dinner in the bar totally overpriced for basically microwaved cheap lasagne and chicken curry
Room didn’t have an extra bed which I had requested
Beautiful grounds, lots of activities
Temperature, was either hot or cool
Location, helpful staff, good food.

Staff very helpful and professional.
lovely grounds
was very busy during my stay too much so breakfast difficult to find table and food was not good cold and not restocked often meaning limited which is surprising given we went in at 8:30. Had a load of poisonous lady birds (not native) in bathroom asked at reception who said would get maintenance to get rid by the time we came back from breakfast however this was not done and I had to get rid of myself
