Holy River Stays

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Caretaker is very kind and helpfull. We did an intresting walkingtour with him.
The guesthouse is in the narrow streets nearby the main ghat. There is a rooftop and breakfast is possible. A perfect place !

Расположение , номер и горячая вода . Меня пытались заселить быстрее так как я приехала и была уставшая , но постель не сменили , увидела вечером , попросила , поменяли . Поэтому не молчите просите , заранее обо всем договариваетесь , так как админ девушка только до обеда бывает . Организовала по приятной цене лодку покататься рано утром , обменяли валюту быстро . Проживание в целом прошло хорошо . Варанаси прекрасен !

Комнаты просторные.
Есть веранда на крыше.

Главный плюс этого отеля-парень работающий там: поможет абсолютно во всём, провёл экскурсию по городу, с большим интересом рассказывает про Варанаси и вообще про Индию. Большое ему спасибо за наши 2 дня в Варанаси и за шикарную кашу,которую он готовил нам по утрам на завтрак.

Warm welcome by Utkarsh who made our stay very special by helping us to make the most of our visit by personally escorting us around and showing us places not normally seen by tourists. We tried some amazing local food, a highlight for us was the many types of Kachori another was The Blue Lassi shop.
Fabulous location with a roof top bacony in the old town which was very busy but gave us a very authentic experience just a few minutes from the Ghats.
Well equipped room and our host made sure we got everything we needed for our 4 day stay.

Staff of the hotels was very helpful

Kuldeep was absolutely great. He organized everything: taxi, walking tours a guide, something to eat. He was so helpful with everything. So I can highly recommend to stay here. The rooms are clean .

Couldn't be better

The staff was really friendly. We have some issue with the exploring trip, when owner find out about the issue he makes for us tour thought the old town by himself. It was really interesting. Good place to stay :)

Homestay davvero in una posizione centrale, immersa nei vicoli di Varanasi. Staff stra disponibile per qualunque esigenza e a qualsiasi ora. Lo staff si è reso disponibile per mostrarci templi e farci fare un giro della città. ll proprietario della struttura super disponibile e gentile.

Wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Shivam took us on two guided tours to show us the area and supported us getting to and from the hotel. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality! We loved our stay!

La atención del lugar, y tambíen la ubicación con respecto a los crematorios y ghat, fueron muy amables y atentos, el hotel es cómodo.

La ciudad había sufrido unas inundaciones y algunos de los lugares cerca al hotel estaban afectados, pero igualmente estaba bien ubicado

Everything, for a true Banaras experience, the location, the staff and the room, all exceptional.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — exactly like the photos (if not better!). The location is perfect: close to all the main attractions in Varanasi, yet quiet enough to relax after a day of exploring. The host was kind, attentive, and always available for any question or request. A wonderful stay — I would highly recommend it and would be happy to come back!

Really good place for the price to explore the riverside area. The host willingly supported us with multiple requests, so we extended our stay and had a great time there!

We loved staying at Holy River Stays as an authentic homestay experience in the heart of Varanasi old town, located close to the river. To reach the property you have to navigate busy and tight alleyways, but that is all part of the experience. We opted for a train station pick up which I would recommend for ease. Kuldeep was on hand to help with organising and was very accommodating. He was also very kind and got me a cake for my birthday. Ankit (front of house) was also incredible taking us to the local temple and organising boats, taxis and tuk tuks for us. Nothing was too much trouble! They work very well as a team to make your stay a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this homestay if you’re after a rustic old town experience.

This place is in the centre of the old town amongst the alleyways, shrines, and chaos. Not for everyone but for me it was a good experience and i saw the real Varanasi!
It is a short walk to the road for a taxi and minutes from the Ganges and the ghats.
The staff were fantastic. Kuldeep checked in on me every day, gave me recommendations on where to go, arranged transport and guides, and took me to the temples. Ankit showed me where the Aarti ceremony was, walked me to my taxi when I left and arranged my laundry. As a solo traveller I really appreciated their help and support.
