Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet und vorallem der Ausblick war traumhaft. Auch das Personal war zu jedem Zeitpunkt freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist etwas von Ella abgelegen, mit dem Tuk Tuk aber innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten gut zu erreichen. Der Weg zu den Zimmern ist ein kleines Abendteuer da man viele kleine Treppenstufen nach unten muss. Wenn man aber fit ist und keine Probleme bei der Fortbewegung hat, sollte das gut machbar sein.

Quel accueil et cabane dans la jungle incroyable. L’endroit est très calme et des toucans vous regardent dormir le matin depuis la terrasse. Toute la famille nous a accueilli avec tendresse et générosité. Le petit déjeuner est une merveille et le fils de la famille fait les allers retours en ville pour nous emmener en tuk-tuk. Un vrai rêve éveillé que je recommande !

Dit was een ‘once in a lifetime’ acomodatie in alle rust, in de natuur en uitkijkend over de rivier. Heerlijk vertoeven was het! De familie was waanzinnig en we ze zijn hen enorm dankbaar voor alles. Een dikke tip wat ons betreft!

Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und sauber. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Der Blick von der Terasse mit kleinem Pool war atemberaubend. Das Zimmer war ruhig. Man wohnt etwa 2km außerhalb des Trubels von Ella. Der Service und das Frühstück waren sehr gut.

Staying at this natural jungle cottage was truly the highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the views lush greenery, birdsong, and total peace. It felt like we were waking up inside a postcard every day.

The cottage itself was charming, clean, and beautifully integrated with the natural surroundings. We loved the wooden details, open air vibe, and how eco-conscious the place felt.

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful organizing transport, serving delicious homemade breakfast, and always ready with a smile or a story. We felt like part of the family.

If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature, this is it. So glad we chose to stay here instead of a hotel in town. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location, and exactly what is shown in the photos. Huge expanse of lush tropical jungle looking out from the balcony. We had incredible breakfasts, and the hosts were amazing. They helped organise transport and were very kind and hospitable people.

A wonderful place in the middle of nature, beautiful views, silence, delicious breakfast homemade, the host family was wonderful and helpful. Villa beautifully decorated, beautiful furniture everything you need 😁

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer vermittelt ein tolles Dschungel Feeling mit einem tollen Blick ins Grüne. Sie Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Staying at Wood Palace in Ella was one of the highlights of my trip. The location is perfect — it feels like you’re tucked away in the jungle, surrounded by nature and total peace, yet you’re only a short stroll from town, cafes, and everything you need. That balance between seclusion and convenience is hard to find, but this place nails it.

The family who runs it make the stay extra special. The mother who prepares breakfast is absolutely adorable — she cooks with such care, and her warm smile makes every morning brighter. The breakfasts themselves are delicious, fresh, and generous. The owner is a great bloke too — kind, genuine, and always ready to help with tips, directions, or just a good chat.

If you want a stay in Ella that feels authentic, welcoming, and beautifully set in nature without being far from the action, Wood Palace is the perfect choice. Highly recommended! 🌿✨
