Location and staff are great. Hotel is clean , good parking and will be staying again

Staff and breakfast were fantastic

Cons:

Shower was very slow, almost a dribble when hit is turned on. Good job I have no hair.

A hotel for a summer stay only.
Pros:

Freshly cooked breakfast, generous portions. Suitable menu choices at dinner, very enjoyable. Comfortable chairs in bedroom (but see comments about lighting).

Cons:

Lighting in bedroom was very poor. Internet in garden annex broken and it seemed there was no urgency to repair it. No drawers for clothes. Could be wet, cold and poorly lit walking from the garden annex to the main building and to the separate restaurant.

Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and dog friendly. Restaurant on site. The staff were again very helpful/friendly and accepted well behaved dogs.The room was clean and well supplied with tea/coffee with any extra items on request.

Cons:

Only problem noted, which staff were aware of was the Internet connection affecting t.v.and wi-fi.in the room.

Enjoyable and restful.
Pros:

Location beautiful, staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was well presented and hot, good choice of fare, room lovely and comfy. We would be delighted to stay there again.

Cons:

Our room was on the cool side which was fine for us and the dogs. Mum didn't tell us until the morning after but her room had been very cold. I would have asked the staff to help but I didn't know at the time. I did tell Reception in the morning and they promised to check it.

Had a lovely weekend visiting the sites The Kelpies within walking distance and the Falkirk Wheel.
Pros:

Breakfast excellent, wide choice given. Room good size big enough for us and my big dog! Bed very big and comfy.

Cons:

I was charged for two different rooms as was advised on Bookings that there were not two rooms available.I was charged a dearer rate for the first night than the second night . when I contacted the hotel they were able to put us in the second room for two nights and no need to change .However no refund given for the extra that I had paid for the first night.
