Pros:

The hotel private messaged me while I was on the way to the hotel to tell me they couldn’t not accommodate me. They did not refund me nor will Expedia assist with getting a refund. This is a scam listing.

Pros:

We were sent a message about 7 hours before our check in that we needed to stay in a different building. We didn’t have a choice due to flights etc. we got there and the room was poor, we stayed for one night and then tried for 3 days to get out of our booking, the hotel ignored all requests to discuss our issue with a manager and ignored Expedia's requests too. We were told the hotel had a fuse issue. When we did arrive on day 3 the room wasn’t ready, we waited again asking to talk with a manager. Ignored again. We finally got into the room we thought we’d booked and it was different again. There was a crane next to our window all night digging. Digging so close the building shook. We asked to move rooms again and they said they couldn’t until the following night. We wore earplugs and tried to get some sleep. When they did finally put us in a room that was quiet and resembled our original booking there was no water. Lucky for us this was check out day. We were just happy to leave.

This hotel looks convenient, is in a good location and is above a coffee shop, but don’t be fooled. The hotel team are teenagers working in the cafe, not allowed to give you the details only management. This operation is a shambles and I would avoid it, there are plenty of other options. For us it will one day make a hilarious travel story, for you I hope this review is a bullet dodged.

Absolutely disgusting service arrived at hotel and told there was no rooms available after I booked and paid in full. Took six hours off my first night in Hanoi on the phone and sending emails to try and sort. Demanded to be put up in another hotel all they were bothered about was getting me to check out the next day by 11 am from the room they put me in 40 minutes away from the area I wanted to stay at. No staff for the hotel on site had to deal with staff from coffee shop who are not to blame. While I was trying to sort this problem out another couple came in and had the same problem. Be very careful of your booking this hotel!,

I was given the wrong room that I paid for. Staff did not reply to my messages and calls. Room smelt bad. I had no towel and my hot water did not work. Only cafe staff were available to help me. Cafe down stairs was very noisy until very late. Very disappointed

We booked this accomodation a few weeks before our trip, specifically choosing the Old Quarter since we wanted to stay close to the fun. We paid upfront. Upon arrival, we heard from the accomodation manager that there was 24/7 ongoing construction next door, which had damaged the water pipes. NYNA offered alternative accomodation 10-20 mins by car, well outside of the Old Quarter. We did not want to take this, and the manager told us the booking could instead be cancelled, leaving us without accomodation, but for vague reasons we would have to be the one to cancel the booking.

The manager told us to take it up with Expedia and that they would support cancelling our booking, which we did. Now it turns out Expedia support is unable to reach the accomodation, leaving us both without accomodation and without money.

I still hope this can be resolved, but definitely don't recommend this place...

Worst experience ever! 真的不要住！
Pros:

The room is located upstairs from NYNA Café. While the café staff member who checked me in was polite and helped carry my heavy luggage upstairs (thank you!), the lack of an elevator was inconvenient. As we climbed the stairs, I immediately felt uneasy—the stairwell was filthy and poorly maintained.

The room was a huge disappointment. It appeared far smaller than the advertised 30 square meters, feeling more like 10. The décor, while trying to mask the room’s age and grime, only made things worse. The room was unbearably stuffy with an overwhelming chemical detergent smell. Even after opening the window, the odor lingered.

After sitting on the bed for just 10 minutes, I started itching, and rashes appeared on my skin. When I reported this via WhatsApp, their response was dismissive: "Maybe your skin is a bit sensitive." However, I later found similar complaints in other Google reviews, confirming this wasn’t just me.

The ceiling was another nightmare. It was made of bamboo sticks, which looked unstable and made me worry about debris falling onto me while sleeping. Between the suffocating smell, worsening rashes, and a pounding headache, I couldn’t endure it any longer. I left in the middle of the night and booked another hotel.

I stayed for less than an hour despite paying for four nights. My refund request was denied, but I still believe leaving was the best decision.

I have no idea where their positive reviews come from. Just check out google map page!

Demolition mayhem!
Pros:

I booked for 3 nights for a work trip. On the first night construction noise commenced at 6pm and didn’t stop until midnight. The next day the building attached began to be demolished and my bed was shaking.
It was the craziest scariest thing ever! The hotel management refused to acknowledge the problem or respond to my request for a refund. I had to move again to another hotel that wasn’t being knocked down. Very poor customer service, do not recommend at all. It’s a shame as the rooms are stylish in a nice coffee shop but this was an awful experience!

Booked a Senior Studio Suite with City view. Room had a view of the building next door which had noisy construction work every day from 8am to 5pm. Room was advertised as having a balcony/patio area with garden which it did not. There is an extra fee to have your room cleaned on a daily basis which was not in the listing either. The free bottled water was only in the room on check in and not replaced. The seperate dining area is a hard wooden bench as the seating cushion shown in the picture was missing.

The coffee shop downstairs was good and Joseph was quick to reply to messages. The free laundry was a good service to have.

My partner and I loved staying here. The property was in a great location - close enough to the action whilst still also being in with the locals. Convenient store and coffee shops are located just on the street nearby so you’re a short walk away from all the amenities you need. Accessing the property was very easy, and the team here were very responsive and helpful with all of our queries. The wifi was very fast and TV had a good amount of platform options to watch things. We’d be happy to recommend this place or stay there again ourselves. Thanks for having us!

Pros:

I've had quite good experiences here. The host always welcomed us and assisted us whenever needed, really appreciated that. The apartment's location is also very convenient to explore famous tourist attractions. There were only a few small minus points about the stairs that made me struggle at first but overall everything was fine :) I will still choose this place when I come back to Hanoi next time

Pros:

It was a comfortable stay at a lovely space. The place provided many of the basics like toiletries and cooking utensils. We especially loved the balcony which had lots of plants and a pair of signature small chairs common around Hanoi. Would go again if I ever come back to Hanoi.
