Dårlig service og uacceptable forhold
Pros:

Beliggenhed på Fort Kochi. Hvis man vælger dette overnatningssted, anbefales det kun at vælge hytterne ud til dammen, da de andre værelser vender ud mod en trafikeret vej.

Cons:

Allerede ved ankomst opstod der problemer, da vores værelse ikke var klar. De tidligere gæster havde ikke tjekket ud, og vi måtte vente ca. en time efter check-in tidspunktet, selvom de skulle have været ude fire timer før.
Vi brugte hotellets vaskeservice, men tøjet kom retur mere beskidt end ved aflevering. Vi klagede og ønskede ikke at betale for en service, der ikke var udført korrekt. Hotellet tilbød at vaske tøjet igen, men grundet mangelfuld kommunikation (mangel på engelsk) skete det aldrig, og de nægtede at bruge en anden udbyder. Billede er vedhæftet, som viser tøjet efter det kom retur sammenlignet med efter vask derhjemme.
Trods en aftale om halv betaling for vaskeservice, endte hotellet efter dialog mellem reception og ledelse med at opkræve fuld pris. Receptionisten forsøgte at finde en løsning med ledelsen, men forklarede, at en reduktion ville blive trukket fra hans løn. Det er helt uacceptabelt og uetisk at lægge det ansvar over på medarbejdere.
Vi observerede også rotter flere gange på området. Det blev meldt, men mødt med ligegyldighed, hvilket er bekymrende for et hotel med restauranter, som også er åbne for eksterne gæster. Derudover var der borebiller i døren, og hotellets dam medførte mange myg, hvor selv myggespray ikke hjalp.
Som Europæere, der har rejst i Indien mange gange og normalt oplever høj service og gæstfrihed, var det her markant under standard og helt uhørt.
Vi kontaktede også Booking.com, som forsøgte at mægle uden brugbar løsning.
Samlet set er det uacceptabelt at betale for en ikke-leveret service og samtidig opleve alvorlige hygiejneproblemer. Vi kan ikke anbefale dette hotel.

Séjour agréable dans une résidence historique mais salle de bains trop petite

Situation bonne , bon restaurant dans une résidence vieille de 120 ans.

Cons:

La salle de bains beaucoup trop petite et trop de mobilier dans la chambre qui est d'une taille moyenne.

Sehr schön
Pros:

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, mit einem Garten und einem kleinen Teich. Die historische Einrichtung lässt die Geschichte des Hauses lebendig werden, ohne dass man auf Komfort verzichtet.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel im schönen Kolonialstil mit freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Eines der wenigen Hotels in Kochi, in dem Alkohol und kaltes Bier serviert werden. Unsere Villa war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Klare Empfehlung!

Overall the stay was nice. The location is superb. The property is very well maintained.

Cons:

The Lpg issue has hit the property and hence in the breakfast the variety was less and the lunch time the restaurant is closed. They are not even using induction for serving the guests also this info was not given to us when we were checking in. While check out very early in the morning the staff was not clear with the payment so kept on asking that i have to pay again and i had to keep showing him the record and proof of my payment clearance way before i checked in.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

I cant rate the breakfast, because we were there during the LPG Gas crisis. So it was limited because of the given circumstances.

Cons:

They could offer a variety of coffees, like cappuccino etc. Could add muesli, cornflakes, yoghurt..
