Great hotel with friendly staff.
Pros:

Great hotel, nice facilities.
Pool area is lovely.
Staff were fantastic.

Cons:

We weren’t able to use the pool area for two nights as there were private parties there, but we were given a free room upgrade to compensate.
Could use some loungers by the pool.

Fine for a few nights in Kochi away from Old Town
Pros:

Good location away from the old town. Nice, small rooftop pool (no jacuzzi as advertised).

Cons:

Breakfast variety was very small so we ate elsewhere. No subbed on rooftop which was a shame. No cafe on rooftop as mentioned, just a menu of snacks to order. Felt the staff could have been a bit more welcoming!

Heavenly western comfort

Could not fault it. Was like a mini break back in civilisation after a month travelling around India. Heavenly home comforts that we didn't realise we needed so much. If you need time out from the chaos, noise, dust and dirt - treat yourself. More than we'd usually spend, but soooo worth it.

Bad smell in room and poor quality food
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable apart from the fact that you cannot open any of the windows and there was a bad smell in the room. The pool was nice on top of the property

Cons:

No windows that you could open in the room and very bad smell. We soon realized it was because the a/c was bringing in air directly from the kitchen air outlet so it made the room smell of old oil and waste, we were on the 4th floor. I mentioned this to the reception and they did nothing about it apart from apologize. I was told I would get a reduction but when we came to leave they said they never told me I would get a reduction?!?! They didn't even take any money off the food we had ordered. The first meal we ordered off room service had a piece of metal in it from a cleaning scourer which they apologized for. The evening meals were less than average, not much choice at all. The breakfast was poor, no decent bread, food that looked like it had just been reheated time and time again. The coffee pots were absolutely filthy and both needed a good clean. The pool snacks we ordered were cold on arrival and of poor quality, the 'sandwich' looked nothing like the picture on the menu. I'm not sure if the chef has any training.
