L'emplacement proche du Village Market et du Compound UN
Le personnel aux petits soins, souriant

Cons:

Le lit peu confortable, la table qui ne permet pas de travailler, les bruits de balai ou de musique tôt le matin tous les jours (même la fin de semaine), la douche qui est tiède 2 minutes puis froide ou gelée tout le reste du temps

Pros:

A small and familiar space. The room is small and the desk is not for working, but it has a nice terrace that opens onto a beautiful garden, where you can work. The house-roasted coffee and the roaster in the corner of the garden are a must for any coffee lover. It has a Chinese kitchen and i is 5 minutes walk from the amazing Village Market with shops and restaurants, and Fridays the colourful massai market with handmade local goods.

Cons:

Sometimes the place felt a little too cozy and therefore noisy.

Guter Preis, sauber, nettes Personal (haben mir auf Anfrage schon vor offiziellem Frühstücksbeginn etwas zum Frühstück vorbereitet), schöner Garten (hatte aber keine Zeit, dort Zeit zu verbringen)

Zimmer recht klein und dunkel, aber nur zum Übernachten völlig ausreichend

Difficult to recommend
Pros:

The rooms were cleaned well each day, which was appreciated, although not all rooms are equipped with mosquito nets.

The house and garden area have clear potential, but are currently tired and worn, and would benefit from renovation and more consistent maintenance.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we had no hot water on any morning throughout our stay — despite daily assurances it would be fixed.

The regular daily burning of trash (including plastic) in an old oil barrel next to the guest rooms — despite repeated assurances this would stop — made relaxation very difficult.

In this case, the combination of unresolved basic services and ongoing disturbances made the place difficult to recommend.

Pros:

Lovely cafe on-site, very safe area (although quite impersonal and quiet - lots of embassies and UN) and nice staff. I only stayed for one night, so I can't say much more.

Cons:

The bed was quite hard, and breakfast could have been a bit more and more flavorful. Otherwise no complaints, would recommend!

Pros:

È in ottima posizione a Runda e il prezzo è concorrenziale. Le stanze hanno un bagno ampio. Molto pulito.

Cons:

La stanza 2 è adiacente a un compressore che ha continuato a funzionare con rumore molto alto tutta la notte non permettendo di dormire. Molta confusione sul dove poter lasciare le valigie dopo il checkout in attesa del transfer

​Hi Liu and DB Team,
​I have checked out and want to share some honest feedback. The space came highly recommended by some UN colleagues who I assume are mutuals in the network. I therefore had high hopes for this stay.
​The space is calm , beautiful and vibrant. The cleaning ladies were truly kind, the chef was excellent, and I loved the coffee and the overall atmosphere.Therefore I decided to rent for a month after the first night. For the first three weeks, everything was great and comfortable.
​However, as someone who came here specifically for remote work, the 6-day internet outage in the 4th week was a major challenge for my meetings. More importantly, I was deeply uncomfortable when the management raised his voice while shifting blame at me in front of the cleaning staff for raising these concerns.
​This behavior lowered the respect and hospitality accorded at the beginning of my stay and made it feel like an unsafe environment. I had intended to stay longer and recommend this house for our upcoming event delegations and future accomodation, but I can no longer do that in good conscience.
Seeing as our previous interactions were pleasant, I noted that this individual appeared under significant personal stress at the time, mentioning they were supposed to be off-duty. However projecting that onto a guest remains a breach of the safety and professionalism expected.
In good faith, ​I trust that this feedback helps you and team rectify these management issues so that this beautiful space can reach its full potential.
