High end place with superior service, friendly staff, cosy room, the best shower (after geavy rainfalls), outdoor private pool, and good breakfast. Very large resort with a lot to explore.
Some services like laundry are too expensive. And we really needed it due to the heavy rain falls. Some aspects of the room are fancy but not practical like special chairs. Ofc it fits to the overall style of the resort, but in the very moment we might have needed a bit more space and possibilities to hang things for drying.
Some (significant) parts of the resort seem to be half-built and left, unclear if they are going to be finished any time soon. The beds were high quality but my back was in pain after two nights (maybe I am not made for these type of beds).
Everything, from the service, the rooms, food and specially the staff, who were exceptional. Very attentive to all our needs, friendly and welcoming. I even left my wallet there and they helped me delivering it to me in San Jose. Truly a unique experience. The decoration and cleanliness of the rooms was magnificent. And the nature of the surroundings amazingly beautiful.

Het complex is heel groot. Vlakbij de receptie moet je parkeren en dan wordt je verder met een golfkarretje vervoerd. Bij de incheck een lekker welkomstdrankje. Dan wordt er ook een groepsapp aangemaakt waarbij je alles kan vragen. Als je vervoer naar het restaurant of receptie wil, stuur je gewoon even een appje en je wordt opgehaald. Het terrein is uitgebreid en flink glooiend dus wij hebben die service van vervoer per golfkar vaak gebruikt. De kamer is enorm groot, netjes, 2x 2 persoonsbed. Balkon met tafel en stoelen en 2 relaxstoelen. Ook in de kamer diverse stoelen en een bureau. Gratis koffie/thee op de kamer en minibar tegen betaling. Goede airco. Ruime badkamer met handdoeken, shampoo enz. Zeer goed uitgerust. Paraplu ter beschikking. Het zwembad is heerlijk met schitterend uitzicht en een bar. Handdoeken verkrijgbaar bij het zwembad. Het eten is van hoog niveau. Het complex staat rondom in de natuur en excursies zijn beschikbaar. Wij waren er maar 1 middag en nacht dus daar hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt.
De bedden waren voor ons echt te zacht. Ik had rugpijn helaas. Jammer want verder was het zo mooi en verzorgd allemaal. Doordat het zo mooi is betaal je ook wat meer. Maar dat is eigenlijk niet iets wat erg tegen viel want het is ook gewoon heel goed.

This place is incredible! The wonderful nature and horses make it truly amazing.
The renovation and construction are ongoing but there’s no noise or issues. However, some areas look less appealing.
Nos encantó todo, la atención que se nos brindo de parte del personal fue excepcional, las instalaciones son cómodas y todo muy limpio, la verdad no lo dudaría ni un segundo por volver.

Pricing of the activities is out of sync (with alternatives). Our girls would have loved to do some horse back riding on or around the estate, unfortunately the pricing was unrealistic high, even for a 5- star hotel.
The property is located in a gated eco paradise. Grounds are absolutely amazing and big. They provide transportation around the property via golf cart if needed. The room was spacious and the private pool is wonderfully relaxing.
Staff are exceptional. Jaime (James) is the main bar tender and he has skills. Try his “Noches en la Casita” cocktail. A delicious dragon fruit and gin cocktail that will have you wanting more. Juan Jose is one of the other restaurant staff and he is friendly and attentive, and provided exceptional service while I dined. Ivan and Michael are also great staff members in the restaurant and were friendly as well as attentive. Marvin is the bellman and he did a great job moving my luggage and providing transport around the property. Everyone went out of their way to make sure everything is perfect.

Lugar, about changing a couple of things during breakfast to improve the customer experience. They have received it well.
