A wonderful experience and wonderful host.
Pros:

The location is superb. Nearby and walking distance to Gaziantep Castle, the spice / brass bazaar. The hotel is a remodelled house with a court yard in the middle. There are 5 rooms, 3 on the ground floor and 2 on the 1st floor. We stay at the 1st floor. The host serve delicious breakfast with a variety of local cheese, local bread, scrambled eggs, jams, ect.

I requested for ground floor room as I'm travelling with my eldely parents and its difficult for them to go up a flight of stairs. BUT it turns out to be Ok, as we can just sat and relaxed at the balcony.

The hotel is very suitable for couples and solo travellers or a group a small friends.

Cons:

Limited communication with the host as they don't speak English, thus a mixup on our room reservation.

1 of our room have a closet, but can't be use as it housed the water heater tank. BUT the host did have a clothes hanging rack behind the room door.

Poor
Pros:

The place is located just near the castle, in the heart of old town which has advantages and disadvantages. You are close to many attractions and can feel the real Turkish life, but this life is bazaar so you have to be prepared for it. The hotel is located in the historic building, so you can experience the old times atmosphere. And those standards of comfort as well. Despite the fact that owner tried to make rooms comfortable filling it with slippers, dryer, fridge - the room itself is small and dark because of tiny windows. The smell from sewerage complets your immersion to the Medieval times.
The only positive notice I can mention - hot tea was available 24/7.

Cons:

I am an experienced traveler and have stayed in accommodations of various levels. However, this is only the second time in my life that I have felt completely unwelcome from start to finish. Absolutely unwelcome.

The owner (or receptionist, I am not sure) seemed to know nothing about the renowned Turkish hospitality—especially towards foreigners. In fact, I suspect the opposite. Their attitude towards Turkish guests at this so-called "boutique hotel" was entirely different and much more accommodating.

For instance, I asked if breakfast could be served just 15 minutes earlier (at 7:45 a.m.) because we had a early day tour planned. The owner bluntly refused, claiming that "bread arrives at 8:00." I used Google Translate, so there was no room for misunderstanding. Yet, for Turkish guests, breakfast was extended until 11:00 a.m., even though we were told it ended at 10:00 a.m.

The blatant double standards left a bitter taste in my mouth. If you're not a Turkish family, I strongly advise against staying here. The lack of basic courtesy and respect makes it a place I cannot recommend under any circumstances!

Great place to stay right near the castle!
Pros:

Breakfast was delicious, a traditional Turkish breakfast with cheeses, bread, etc. The chickpeas are so good! The courtyard is beautiful. The rooms are nice, mini fridge and kettle inside. Very comfortable. Towels, slippers, soaps included. The owner is very kind and helpful, gave me a restaurant suggestion when I asked and genuinely wanted to make my stay great!

Cons:

Need some shelves in the shower for toiletries.
