Great location. Friendly front desk staff
Very comfy beds, great location, great staff, a bit rundown.
Just little maintenance things, peeling caulk, my bathroom door had a hole in it that had been badly covered
Simple, comfortable, no fuss room. :)
Seedy lobby and exterior.
Location
Old, dingy, not clean, not updated. Very expensive for what you get.
SO CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN AND GREAT PRICE, UNDER SOME RENOVATION BUT STAFF WAS SUPER HELPFUL
CENTER OF TOWN AND PRICE
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, bed linens and towels were all very clean. Good air conditioning.
The entrance is in poor repair and the lobby was deplorable. It was dirty and smelled like dirty mop water, or worse. You could not relax in the lobby. The elevator has not been cleaned in an extremely long time and is pretty nasty.
The location to Hudson was pretty okay.
The place smelled kinda funky, felt old and damp. Cheap sheets. The king we booked wasn’t clean so we had a double queen.
There was plenty of free parking even if some nearby buildings seemed a little sketchy. The location in Hudson was convenient. Room was ok, AC worked well. The staff seemed to be trying, but with very few resources. There is potential there and real need for more lodging in the area. I don't know why they can't make it work.
The smell in the lobby was terribly off-putting. Also a work curtain across from the check-in desk hid renovations that were attempted...then abandoned. Kinda scary to be honest. The smell was bad enough that we actually considered sleeping in our cars, due to the lack of available hotels, and how gross the lobby bathroom was. Terrible first impressions. Fortunately the smell was not in the room. The free breakfast was not very appealing, serving area not very clean, coffee was lukewarm, microwave was disgusting. We did not eat it. Service was very disorganized, the 1st room we were given was not made up...not a great 3rd impression (1st being the sketchy parking lot, 2nd the arrival smell). Security was poor at best, front desk was rarely staffed and anyone could enter the lobby.
The location was good, and it was easy to park. The room and bedding was clean. Pets allowed was very helpful.
It was a very depressing lobby interior. From the sidewalk the hotel looks abandoned. The room was spartan.
Not as advertised. Very bad conditions. Lobby was under construction. Desk clerk had to finish cigarette before checking us in. Then told us tvs are all broken. Cable boxes were returned!? Sign on main door saying doors are locked at 11:00 and have to call a number to get in. Room was dirty and dusty. Broken handle on night table , easily repaired but left hanging. Walls thin you could hear guests. The elevator button sticks and you have to hit 10 times work. And elevator smelled awful!! Reeked of Body odor or something else. Frightening stay. No one at desk in morning.
Zac the manager was great! Very accommodating
Had no tv the whole stay don’t think it’s fair I paid what I paid for. I called and ask about the tv waited 1 hr for them to say there’s no cable. Which I don’t believe.
I only paid $50 extra for early check-in which I really appreciated because the train or buses to get to that place only happened very early in the morning the staff was amazing soft-spoken and reliable they even double checked on me to make sure I was okay which was perfect because I needed to get it ready for an event so it made me really happy getting food delivered was also fantastic I didn't have to worry that they couldn't find their way to my hotel room and leaving was bittersweet the breakfast was very good and help me on my way back home
I can't say didn't like but I understand hotels that have history and they want to keep Nostalgia going this would be the place plus it is a beautiful area that the hotels in and I really enjoy the scenery and if I had more time I would definitely bike ride by the river
Cosy, nice and clean hotel.
Could improve breakfast.
