Not a damn thing

Service was pretty bad. They charged my credit card twice. I had to cancel my credit card as fraudulent charges were being charged on it after my stay. Never happened before with that card. All in all I am pretty amazed this property stays open.

Some small challenges in the bathroom which likely would have been resolved by staff should we have chosen to ask

Towels are super small and old/yellowed, curtains are partially hanging from window.

Breakfast only had cereal. The cost was very affordable so we weren’t expecting much anyway.

The bed was hard as a rock… like sleeping on a wood floor. My back, shoulders and pelvis were very sore. The Bath tub nob to get Water and dial to correct temperature fell off twice. The sink was open to things falling down the pipe. The outside door was boarded shut with a board across the corner. The bed was sloppy made. The place was dirty and we chose NOT to eat the free breakfast there and they only offered milk and cereal.

Dude at the front desk...looked like he hadn't taken a shower in a week, t-shirt dirty as if it hadn't been washed in weeks, dirty, dirty, dirty, messy, messy.
Stains on the walls, towels, sheets, etc., all stained, carpet (if you can call it that), stains everywhere. Light switch plates, most of them broken or cracked in some way. Outlets all loose. Fridge on max cold kept my pop barely cold-ish. Microwave hadn't been cleaned in months. Lighting in the room sucked. Site used to have doors leading to outside (motel style). All have been blocked off, by chunks of OSB/plywood and/or duct tape.
I stayed here last winter (last ditch thing). Figured I might've gotten a bad room or it was just an off week because of the blizzard that had rolled thru a day before. Nope.
Absolute garbage.
Choice between this and the trunk of my car?
I'm choosing the trunk.

The city of Edgeley would do well to burn this place down.

Rooms need a lot of work. It was creepy and safety is an issue. The first 2 rooms we checked had exit doors that were duct taped shut and urine smell that made your eyes water. Front desk gave us 2 other rooms to check and the same thing except the doors were duct taped and boarded shut with cob webs and ripped bedding. Curtains were barely hanging from rod. It was so creepy, I was only able to snap 1 picture and left immediately.
