Family friendly, clean and welcoming!
Pros:

The property is so inviting! Feels like home. From the decorations to the flowers, it’s so cute. It’s very clean and inviting. They’ve added a new fire pit area, which was set up so nicely! I had my granddaughter over for one night! We enjoyed the breakfast and pool! Good variety of choices for breakfasts and the pool is great for kids, complete with a basketball hoop. Balls and pool noodles are provided as well as towels. The staff is very friendly, and accommodating! I just love this place!!

It was fantastic and a great way to relax,reflect, and refuel.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good. My wife wondered where they got their sausage because it was very good. We had such a nice time,that we plan on returning again in late June.

Pros:

The location was very nice and the external appearance is inviting. Being on a main highway (on a hill) makes road noise an issue at times, but it was generally not a problem to us. The room was clean and well maintained.

Cons:

The bathroom was quite small, but very clean and everything functioned nicely.
Our first two nights were quiet, but the third night (with a wedding party in adjacent rooms) was pretty noisy.
They quieted down at about 2:00 AM.

Sehr nette Unterkunft! Staub kann mich nicht davon abhalten, wiederzukommen!
Pros:

Super nette Atmosphere im Frühstücksraum mit den anderen Gästen und dem Manager! Tolles Frühstück mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen, frisch gebrutzelten Würstchen oder Hackbällchen, Joghurt, Waffelteig und tollen Waffelbackautomaten, Müsli, Toast, Kaffee, Wasserkocher für Teewasser und vieles mehr. Super netter Manager, Schöner Pool-Bereich mit Dusche und Sitzbereichen und Terrasse, einheimische traditionelle Spiele auf der Terrasse, kurze Entfernung zum Lake Michigan.

Cons:

Vor den Fenstern hätte ich mir außer den Verdunklungsrollos, die echt den Raum verdunkeln, noch eine Gardine o.ä. für etwas mehr Privatsphäre gewünscht, damit jeder außen vorbeilaufende Mensch nicht direkt den vollen Einblick ins Zimmer hat, denn man will ja tagsüber bei Helligkeit nicht die Verdunklung runterziehen, wenn man sich z.B. umziehen will und dabei keine Zuschauer möchte.
Unser Zimmer sah auf den ersten Blick gepflegt und frisch aus, aber bei genauerem Hinsehen, sah man viel Staub auf den Flächen und Gegenständen. Dies passte zu der Begründung, die ich auf die Nachfrage erhielt, wieso die Zimmer keine Gardinen mehr haben, und die lautete, dass die ja regelmäßig gewaschen werden müssten.

Very good and well worth it.
Pros:

Nice and quiet place, clean and cosy. Amenities are great and the breakfast is excellent. No lakeshore access but close to downtown and the beach.

Cons:

Beds were not very comfortable.
