This was our second visit here and once again we really enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Staff was was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beach.

Great hotel for families.
Pros:

The breakfast box arrived fresh, on time. It was a very good option for a hotel that does not have a kitchen. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Excellent beach amenities.

Cons:

There needs to be a safe way for pedestrians to cross the busy road without walking a mile to the nearest light. The town should make some adjustments as it continues to grow. The hotels are on the beach side of the road and mini golf, go Karting, and restaurants are on the other side, with no safe place to cross!

It was fine for one night. I don’t think I’d stay again.

Pros:

I enjoyed the convenience of having resteraunts and excursions within minutes of the hotel. I also enjoyed the beautiful view from our room.

Booked this property thinking the accommodations was going to be better than they were because of the word resort I feel

To be completely transparent, I never realized the term “resort” could be used so loosely. I was a Disney Vacation Club member for 20 years, and when I think of a resort, I think of the accommodations at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Based on the price I paid, I expected something closer to that level of quality. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

I’m not saying this is a bad place to stay, but I do believe it is significantly overpriced for what it offers. It appears to be a former Days Inn, and I believe the old Days Inn room number placards are still on the doors. It felt much more like a renovated motel than a true resort.

On my first day, I contacted the front desk about several concerns. The biggest issue was the outdoor deck. I paid extra for a room with a deck, but it was completely unusable because it was covered in insects and spider webs. It was honestly unpleasant. I reported it immediately, and the front desk acknowledged they were aware of the issue and said they had already informed management. Despite that, nothing was ever done during my stay. No one attempted to clean the deck, so I ended up paying for an amenity I couldn’t use.

The boxed breakfast was average at best. The “fresh fruit” that was advertised was disappointing. The oranges were so soft and mushy that they were inedible, which did not meet my expectation of fresh fruit.

If this had been priced like a typical motel, I probably wouldn’t have been disappointed. However, it was priced as a resort, and in my opinion, it falls well short of what most travelers would reasonably expect from a property described and priced that way. I hope management addresses these issues because the property has potential, but at its current price point, it simply doesn’t deliver the value I expected.

Pros:

Beach was very clean along with the beach chairs. Hot tub and pool area clean. Room was comfortable and clean. Loved having our breakfast delivered each day!

Cons:

Our towel bar in the bathroom came apart when we took a towel off. I did report it to the front desk. Did not effect our stay.
