Going out and coming back using car you have to hood by the gate or wait for some time and that feels unnecessary
I booked a stay at this branch from Saturday to Monday. Prior to arrival, I called on the day to request an early check-in. However, when we arrived, it appeared that this request had not been noted, as we were told the room was not ready. We eventually received access about an hour later, which was still inconvenient.
We were allocated Room 403, which was marketed as a Lux King Bedroom. Unfortunately, the room was extremely small and cramped and did not reflect what one would reasonably expect from a luxury category. Had this been advertised as a standard room, the size would have been more understandable, but for a Luxury King, it was disappointing and misleading compared to the photos shown online.
The room’s interior also felt inconsistent and somewhat worn, which further took away from the overall experience, though this was not the main issue.
Additionally, the room was situated in a shared common area with two other bedrooms. The guests in those rooms appeared to be part of the same group, which resulted in significant noise. As a result, the common area was not usable for us during our stay.
On a positive note, the room was clean, which we appreciated.
We have previously stayed at another branch of this establishment and had a much better experience. Unfortunately, this branch did not meet expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.

The place could do with some painting and renovation. It has potential but needs some TLC.
Loadshedding immediately after check in for 2 hours with no backup generator or something. No explanation whatsoever from the staff. We couldn't even charge our gadgets nor get through to their phone as it went on voice-mail. No 3 pin plug next to the bed. Only in the cupboard somewhere very far. The room was very dirty (shower, curtains eewww). Mosquitoes 🦟 😪, no lifts, no telephone in the room.
I was booked for 2 nights but i had to check out after the first night because it was simply unbearable to stay there. The long wait at the gate at night in that dodgy street for them to open was really a test of my faith. Im not sure why they dont give clients the remote for the gate 🤷♂️
Dear Boss, kindly add basic things like the generator, telephone, and the gate remote so that your staff don't have to go through all the embarrassment, having to deal with unhappy clients. Also, please train your staff as they are very young and quite unprofessional. It's also very important to show proper and current pics of the room so that one can make an informed decision when booking
