I stayed one night at Montreal and had the best solo travel experiencel I booked the deluxe room and it was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was spotless,with good water pressure and hot water available. The room also had fast-speed Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay connected, and the view from the rooftop was simply amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect--just a short walk from the river and the city, making it super convenient for exploring. The food at the rooftop restaurant was delicious, and the peaceful vibes made it a great place to relax. What really made my stay special was the friendly and welcoming staff. They helped me book a trek to Kedarnath and valley of flower.If you're a solo traveler looking for a clean, budget-friendly, and safe place in rishikesh with a great view Montreal is the place to be. Highly recommended and would definitely come back!

Such a lovely stay! The location is amazing – very central and easy to reach, even for first-time visitors. Autos and cabs easily find it. What made it extra special was the big window in our room—waking up to the view of the Rishikesh mountains was magical. Everything was clean and peaceful, and staff was helpful too. Loved the early morning view from my window — watching the sunrise over the hills with a cup of chai was magical. Clean rooms and polite staff. Will be coming back soon.
I was a bit unsure after reading some reviews, but honestly had a great experience. Check-in was smooth, room had a mountain view, and everything was neat. Budget-friendly and peaceful.
No frills, nothing great, parking was available next to entrance
They don't allow outside food and inside they serve stale food , ordered chhole kulchhe and it was stale and had.upset stomach after having it . No toiletries provided, had to ask for pillow and towels repeatedly to have them. Not at all acceptable at this price point

Had my own car, and finding parking in Rishikesh can be tough.but this place had proper parking space right inside the property. Felt safe and convenient.
Stayed here for 2 nights with friends and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, location was great .just a short walk to the river. Staff was polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
After conducting a research. I selected the montreal hotel.. I was highly impressed with it's clean and comfortable rooms and additional facilities like rafting and bungee...The location is also fantastic, walking distance (500 mts) from the river.
Breakfast could have been better as they had limited options .

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful hospitality during my stay at your hotel . The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating ,making my visit truly memorable,the comfortable room and excellent amenties exceeded my expectations.....
I didn't like anything because this hotel is a FAKE. Please check out the pictures that i took and compare them with what they put on booking.com. This is the actual entrance to the hotel, the corridor, the reception and the room. All positive reviews are bought.
Before arrival I was bothered and pressurised several times by the hotel who said they will not keep my room if I come at 7pm etc. Later they deleted all the messages from that conversation. I finally arrived at the hotel and was surprised to find the entrance very different from the photos. However I was tired and it was late so I went there. I was asked to pay for all of my booking (3 nights) straight away without seeing the room, in cash only, no international cards were accepted. I paid for half of my booking. Thanks God i didn't have enough cash to pay for the whole stay. In my room I discovered that there is NO window (it said nice view), that there is zero sound isolation, the air conditioning was very filthy etc. I compared the photos on the booking site and realized that this is a very shady place. The room is worth maximum 10 Euros per stay, 15 if you are greedy, not more. I ended up paying 50 euros for my one night's stay.
The room boy who came to fix my shower gave me filthy looks. I did NOT feel safe there and decided to leave the following morning. I asked for a refund which of course they didn't give to me on the pretext that "the manager would then have to pay the commissions by himself" etc. I am sure this was a lie, however I felt pity for him and didn't insist anymore on my refund (it was pointless anyway). They made me cancel the booking so that i could not leave the review. I felt under pressure as a female alone in the room with 6 local males and just wanted to get out of there, so i cancelled the booking. It took me a while later to convince the booking.com team that I actually stayed there.
Last not but least: the hotel is very, very far away from the nice touristy area of Rishikesh with all the yoga studios etc. That are is on the other side of the river. There is absolutely nothing of interest around it. If you are a single female tourist, do NOT go to this area of town.
