Was a nice area and reasonable accommodation but price was on the ‘high side’ for what it was.
Pros:

Nice area to stay as regards eateries. Accommodation was nice. Staff were pleasant, as would be expected. The communal courtyard between reception and rooms was really pretty and inviting.

Cons:

The room was clean & good, outdoor balcony was crappy, ugly and neglected. Have you heard of pot plants? We wanted a balcony with our room but not such an ugly, unwelcoming one.
Something which spoilt our stay and our sleep, was that the room next to ours had 2/3 male guests who decided to talk loudly and play music loudly, after 11pm.and that went for a long time. They also went outside to their balcony and did the same thing there. They were opening beer cans and obviously drunk already.
We ended up banging on our adjoining wall to get them to tone down their behaviour.
I would prefer if there was someone at reception or even contactable, when things like this occur.

Pros:

Perfect location with great choices for dinner within walking distance. Apartment was incredibly spacious. I think we may have been given an upgrade. Nice, quiet place to stay. Would definitely come back. Parking underneath a bonus.

Cons:

Not being told parking was at an extra price until the day before we got there, but after visiting the area, totally understandable.

Won’t be back.
Pros:

Positives;
* very comfortable bed
* attractive decor
* very clean
* great location for restaurants etc.
Negatives;
* two locked doors to get in to Studio 10A. Difficult numeric touchpad to use each time, placed lowdown when you are a tall person. Small numerals if you need glasses. Numerals are very close together and it’s easy to press two numerals at the same time . The touchpad is very sensitive . Took two or three attempts for success and there were two doors and two touchpads each time
* couldn’t leave the sliding door open for some fresh air because the sound of the grating metal carpark door opening and closing was horrendous. You could still hear it even when the door was closed. Also, cockroaches hopped in. Yes, I know these are everywhere
* very claustrophobic as there’s no outlook
* you get morning light in through the louvres very early. No curtains or blinds to stop this
* horrible spa bath steps to get in and out of if you are older.

Cons:

Read above.

Very comfortable stay in a clean room in an excellent location.
Pros:

Excellent location on Darby St. Rooms, though not overly spacious, are very comfortable, clean and include everything you need, including well-supplied kitchenette.

Cons:

Slightly dearer than expected and $25 for overnight parking seems a little steep.

Newcastle is wonderful, beautiful and would come back again
Pros:

Very close to the concert venue. Surrounded by restaurants and cafes so plenty of choices. A quick drive to shopping centre was exactly what we needed and to have underground parking was a big tick.

Cons:

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like. It was great.

Spacious rooms, great central location, and fantastic staff.
Pros:

Great place to stay. Spacious, comfortable rooms and an excellent central location close to shops and restaurants. The staff are fantastic.
A special shout-out to Regina at reception — always friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I had an issue with the shower and it was resolved within hours, which was very much appreciated.

Comfortable, clean and a home away from home!!
Pros:

As we work at a 5 star resort as room attendants, the apartment was what we exactly needed, perfect location, excellent facilities and friendly helpful receptionists.

Cons:

The main king bed..... "don't forget to attach the mattress's zipper together, then the protector etc etc" beds do slide apart. shared a laugh as some of the "zippers" at our work are broken/not yet fixed therefore we put mattress protector on and tightly triple sheet the first flat sheets.. This does work keeping beds together and not slide apart, temporarily if zipper needs fixing. Just a little tip from housekeeping!!
