No A/C during hot day , the room were very hot. The sofa bed in the livingroom was uncomfortable and noisy when someone moved. Not suitable for longer sleep.

Fijn appartement, goede ligging
Pros:

Mooi appartement. Wij verbleven hier 11 nachten en waren blij met onze keuze. Het is appartement is modern, ruim en lichtrijk. We hadden een mooi uitzicht op bomen en wijngaarden, de vlakte van de Rhijn en de Vogezen. De ramen zijn voorzien van rolluiken, waardoor het goed koel te houden is, wij waren er tijdens een hittegolf. De keuken is basic ingericht maar voldoende voor een vakantieverblijf. Een braadpan was krom maar toen we dit melden werd deze onmiddellijk vervangen door een nieuwe. Vaatwas tabletten, koffiepads, keukendoeken, zijn aanwezig. Contact met de eigenaars verloopt via mail, dit gaat snel en vriendelijk. Ook personeel was heel behulpzaam. De appartementen liggen aan de hoofdstraat van het dorp waar wel wat verkeer is maar 's avonds is alles rustig. Aan de overkant is een bouwwerf in afwerkingsfase maar wij merkten hier nauwelijks iets van. Het dorp is omgeven door wijngaarden en ligt aan de voet van het Zwarte Woud, veel wandelgelegenheid op goed gemarkeerde paden.. In het dorp zijn bakkers, slager, kleine supermarkt, diverse restaurants. Andere boodschappen in Achern op 4 km. Pluspunt tijdens de hitte was het gemeentelijke openluchtzwembad van Sasbachwalden wat heel gezinsvriendelijk is met voldoende ruimte in de baden voor alle leeftijden en ruim plek in de schaduwrijke tuin. Het dorp heeft ook een minigolf, speelplein, fitnessterrein en een 'wassertredbecken', wat leuk is om te doen met kinderen. Ook het bergriviertje in de buurt was leuk om aan te spelen.

Der Ort und die Umgebung sind wirklich sehr schön.

Cons:

Das Haus an sich ist sehr schön.
Es ist vielleicht etwas trubelig.
Viel Gästewechsel.
Die Sache mit dem Rauchen ist so lala.
Natürlich hat man im Sommer abends die Fenster auf um zu lüften.
Wenn aber viele auf dem Balkon rauchen oder kiffen, hast du den Gestank in der Bude.
Das manche ihre Kinder von morgens ab 6 Uhr bis abends durch die Wohnung rennen lassen trägt nicht auch unbedingt zur Erholung bei.
Wir waren wahrscheinlich zum falschen Zeitpunkt am falschen Ort.

Great location, comfortable apartment, convenient parking and very responsive hosts!
Pros:

The apartment was very clean and very modern. It was also in a fantastic location so easy to walk to the bakery, shop, restaurants, etc. the hosts were very easy to contact and responded immediately to answer any questions we had.

Basic Apartment
Cons:

Overall, this is just a basic apartment that is overpriced for what you get.

We happened to stay during a particularly warm weekend. There is no air conditioning. They did provide a fan at least. If you were staying in a hotel or even a modern AirBnB you could reasonably expect A/C given the current climate and repeated heat waves in Europe.

The complex is on a very noisy main road so regardless if the church bells which go off around 7 during the weekday there are constantly cars driving by.

There is no washer or dryer in the apartment. This is a basic amenity when booking an apartment especially geared towards hiking etc. It would have been nice to even do a quick wash of sweaty hiking clothes.

There is also no iron so if you want to wear something nicer maybe for the evening don’t bring anything that requires ironing.

There is also no microwave something that is also a basic amenity when booking an apartment.

The parking situation is terrible. Street parking is paid or reserved and there are limited spots available. So for the offer to claim free parking as a bonus is a joke also because there is just a small lot.

On top of all this they expect you to fully clean the apartment before you leave… even mopping the bathroom when they didn’t even put a shower door in the bathroom.

And then they send you a bill for tourist tax which is not mentioned anywhere in the booking therefore increasing your price.

There is also no common space in the building and the kind of terrace they have actually belongs to the Thai restaurant so you have no where besides inside your very warm apartment to relax or hang out if you have a room with no balcony.

Personally I think you could find better options for the same prices.

Tolle Lage, mitten in Sasbachwalden
Pros:

Wir haben das Appartment 36 im 3.Stock bewohnt, die Ausstattung im Appartment und der Schlafkomfort waren super. Durch die digitale Info-Mappe waren alle Mitreisenden gut informiert. Die Abwicklung (Schlüsselübergabe etc.) hat problemfrei funktioniert.
Das Reiseziel Sasbachwalden ist ein Träumen für Wanderer und Naturliebhaber.

Cons:

Ich hätte mir in der Zimmerbeschreibung gewünscht, dass darauf hingewiesen wird, dass die Küche (& damit auch der einzige Gemeinschaftsraum), sowie der Nassbereich fensterlos sind. Ebenso die Tatsache, dass in der gesamten Wohnung ein Fernsehr (in einem der Schalfzimmer) zur Verfügung steht.

Zentrale Lage, sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber, Checkin unproblematisch über Self Checkin.

Cons:

Am ersten Abend roch das gesamte Treppenhaus vom thailändischen Restaurant nach Bratfett. Das war schon sehr stark und die Küche hatte die Tür zum Treppenhaus geöffnet….
