Pros:

Camera comoda e spaziosa.
Ottima coazione e anche il ristorante dell'hotel, sebbene non sia compreso, è molto buono.
La piscina è l'ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di escursioni sotto il sole.
Inoltre, il personale è super disponibile e pronto ad aiutare in ogni modo.

Cons:

Unica nota negativa, il wifi spesso non funzionava correttamente.

Pros:

El trato de Bernard fue excelente. Nos consiguió safari y tuk tuk con precios razonables mejores incluso que buscando por nuestra cuenta.
Tiene todas las comodidades y es muy tranquilo.

Çalışanlar çok yardımcı ve çok tatlılardı

Cons:

Alt katta kaldık etraftaki çiçeklerden dolayı muhtemelen çok fazla sinek, böcek vardı. Sanırım otel az çalışanla çalışıyor resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar aynı zamanda hem temizlik hem de yemek yapıyorlar çok profesyonel değil

Wir waren im neusten Bungalow. Alles mega schön und sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr freundliches und gut englisch sprechendes Personal. Haben uns für abends auch tuk tuk organisiert. Toller sauberer Pool.

Pros:

Wunderschönes Hotel mit einem herrlichen Pool, sauberen großen Zimmern und ein extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal Sandal und Janith. Der Hotelchef Bernard organisiert einem alle Wünsche für Unternehmungen. Das Restaurant ist zudem absolut zu empfehlen. Äußerst gutes Essen zum fairen Preis.

Slechte start maar gelukkig een aangenaam verblijf
Pros:

De ligging van dit hotel is ideaal, vlak aan de lion rock en in de omgeving zijn leuke restaurants en winkeltjes.
De 2 nieuwe kamers die ze dit jaar bijgebouwd hebben zijn zeer mooi, in de oude kamers zijn een aantal dingen aan vervanging toe oa het kastje.

Cons:

Bij onze aankomst in het hotel waren het zwembad en de zetels er rond zeer vuil. Volgel uitwerpselen op de kussens, er zat heel wat ongedierte in het zwembad en ook draaide de filters niet. Het hotel maakte een vuile en slordige eerste indruk bij aankomst wat we niet gewoon waren. Toen we met onze gids overwogen om met onze groep van 8 personen een ander hotel te kiezen kwam de manager wel in actie. Alles werd proper gemaakt, het zwembad werd behandeld met chloor waardoor we pas de volgende dag hiervan gebruik konden maken.
Manager kwam zeer zenuwachtig over gedurende heel het verblijf, maar niets dan lof voor de kok en de rest van het personeel.

Super étape Sigiriya, très bien située, nous recommandons fortement le Lion Gate Hôtel
Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé, jolie extérieur avec piscine. Très bon accueil, le personnel est arrangeant. Merci à Sandali et Janith de nous avoir si bien accueilli.
L’hôtel arrange aussi des chauffeurs depuis l’aéroport de Colombo à des prix très corrects et avec de très bons chauffeurs. Pareil sur place avec les tuktuk et autres moyens de déplacement

Great stay!
Pros:

The staff were very helpful. In particular Sandali Janith Senavirathna. The breakfast was so tasty and great local treats like hoppers and kurakkan porridge. The location is great - a lovely coffee shop next door.

Pros:

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben uns im Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter!

Sandali und Janith waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns Fahrten und eine Safari organisiert und uns Tipps für Sigiriya gegeben.

Das Hotel ist modern, sehr gepflegt und der Pool wird täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels während unserer Reise gehört dieses zu unseren Favoriten – vor allem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super.

Déçu.
Pros:

La chambre très grande et spacieuse.

Cons:

Le wifi est déplorable. Par ailleurs nous avions réservé 4 nuits (3 moi et 1 min ami), à notre arrivée ils nous ont annulé notre dernière nuit. Nous avons dû chercher un autre logement. Aucune compensation n’a été faite, ni sur le safari (sur facturé) ni sur le transport de leur hôtel au nouveau (soit disant ils nous l’offraient). Je ne vous conseille pas de passer par eux pour faire une activité ou réserver un transport. Ils rajoutent 5000 roupies à ce que vous trouverez ailleurs.

Pros:

Primera parada en Sri Lanka y la verdad que hemos alucinado, un hotel súper agradable, muy bien ubicado y con el mejor servicio y atención que hemos recibido, Janith es un chico que trabaja en el hotel, es un maquina y una gran persona, nos ha tratado de 10, recomiendo mucho este hotel de verdad y Sandali la chica de recepción muy amable también.
Le hemos regalado a Janith una camiseta del Barça que teníamos por el gran servicio que nos ha dado.

Schöne Unterkunft mit herzlichem Service und perfekter Lage
Pros:

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die kleine Hotelanlage ist liebevoll gestaltet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war groß, sauber und hatte einen schönen Balkon. Auch der Pool war sehr gepflegt und ideal zum Entspannen. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns außerdem die tolle Lage, der Lion Rock ist von hier aus sehr gut zu erreichen.

Cons:

Kleine Abzüge gibt es allerdings für das WLAN, das während unseres Aufenthalts kaum bzw. gar nicht funktioniert hat. Zudem war der Unterschrank am Waschbecken komplett kaputt, das Regal darüber hing schief und die Bettwäsche hatte einige Flecken. Diese Punkte konnten den insgesamt positiven Eindruck zwar nicht wesentlich trüben, sollten aber behoben werden.

What a lovely stay, and lovely people
Pros:

The hospitality and warmth of the staff really made our trip memorable. Particularly Mr. Bernard - he went the extra mile and helped us plan out our activities for the days we were there, and arranged transport with a very professional, friendly and accommodating tuktuk driver. The entire Lion Gate team was extremely responsive to our requests and genuinely welcoming. The pool is also perfect for a quick dip after a long day of exploring sigiriya and the surrounds.
