Pros:

Accueil très chaleureux et sympa par le propriétaire et ses collègues, présents en cas de besoin, et veillent à ce que tout aille bien. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet avec des produits frais et locaux, restaurant tenu par un chef très pro et sympa avec la clientèle ! Chambre spacieuse, propre. Belle piscine, pour très peu de logement, ce qui permet de ne pas être trop nombreux en même temps. Un petit clin d’œil à Bernard pour l’attention portée à notre lune de miel ! C'était très appréciable .

Cons:

Odeur égout par moment à la salle de bain. Comme la chambre n’est pas nettoyée chaque jour, il faut réclamer ce qu’il peut manquer dans la chambre (PQ, mouchoirs …).
Il y a un véritable souci avec le wifi qui n’est pas très performant. Mais Bernard a tout fait pour que nous ayons la meilleure connexion possible. Il est très attentif et à l'écoute.

Excellent location for touring with a great swimming pool
Pros:

Ideally located for Lion Rock & the Minneriya Eco Safari park. Lovely pool. Great after travelling & trips out. Very clean. Bernard was very helpful with information & advice. All staff very attentive & friendly.

Cons:

Food was limited in availability but chef did his best to accommodate. Limited alcohol offered but Bernard did send out for wine for us!

Très bon hôtel à Sygiria
Pros:

L’emplacement à côté du Lion’s rock est top, l’hôtel est très propre et les gens très sympathique et accueillant (un merci au jeune serveur hyper souriant). On sent que Bernard veut qu’on se sente bien dans son hôtel. Un grand merci au chef cuisinier qui est vraiment au top, les petits dej super, le nasi goreng le meilleur, je conseille de dîner la une fois au minimum.

Cons:

Si il y a avait des cocktails et un peu de vin à la carte du restaurant ce serait un + mais on peut s’en passer.

Great stay
Pros:

Recently completed family room in its own self contained block.
Really modern facilities everything we needed.
Lovely breakfast,enjoyed the pool and staff were lovely.
Lovely go-karts and shrubs around the property.

Cons:

Work ongoing , but certainly didn’t affect our stay.
The works that are being completed are to a high standard.

Pros:

Ich würde jedem diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen, der nach Sigiriya kommt! Der Inhaber, sowie das gesamte Personal sind sehr bemüht und freundlich! Man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet und schmeckt hervorragend! Wir können nur empfehlen auch abends im Hotel zu essen. Die gesamte Anlage, sowie die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ist eine tolle Abkühlung.
Der Inhaber kümmert sich um den Transport, sofern einer benötigt wird und gibt tolle Tipps. Die Lage ist sehr gut und nah an allen Restaurants.

Cons:

Das einzige, was man aussetzen könnte wäre das WLAN, das bei uns nicht oder selten funktionierte, aber braucht man auch gar nicht bei der Kulisse!

Værelserne og omgivelserne var super flotte og man får meget valuta for pengene.
Ejeren af hotellet gav en service udover det sædvanlige og han sørgede uden problemer for at hjælpe med at booke transport og oplevelser.

Very enjoyable
Pros:

The owner, Bernard could not do enough to ensure a successful visit. The location was good, on the main road through Sigirya so we could walk to town ( before dark is best). The pool was big and clean and a great way to cool off in the afternoon. On-site restaurant which can provide European ans Sri Lanka style meals,

WiFi is a bit spasmodic

Nothing any trouble at Lions Gate, Sigiriya
Pros:

The hotel and staff were fabulous. They went over and above to make our stay special. The food was excellent too. We stayed 3 nights and only ate here. Our room was new and very spacious. Bernard booked a safari and tuk tuk tours for us, always with a good eye for detail. Bernard and the team arranged an ad hoc cookery class for ourselves and a family. Nothing was any trouble.

Cons:

Being very picky but the WiFi could drop in and out.

Pros:

Nous avons tout aimé! Le cadre est encore mieux que sur les photos. Une ambiance très paisible, des lits parfaits, une piscine d’une propreté irréprochable et une cuisine divine. N’hésitez pas! Le chef est très expérimenté et le staff s’inspire de lui. Bernard, le manager, est exceptionnel avec les hôtes mais aussi avec son équipe. Il a tout mis en place pour que nous passions le meilleur séjour possible, veillant à chaque détail. Voyant que nous avions aimé le dîner (la farandole de curry) il a aussitôt proposé d’organiser un cours de cuisine pour nous . Un moment mémorable, joyeux et plein de partage . Cet atelier a été compté comme un dîner. Je salue l’élégance du geste , preuve du professionnalisme sans faille de Bernard. Ce séjour nous a profondément touché. Une parenthèse enchantée!

Comfortable stay
Pros:

The hotel was walking distance into town, where there are many restaurants. We had breakfast each morning, which was lovely either way a selection of fresh fruit, juice, eggs cooked to your liking and some Sri Lankan sweets. We had dinner on our 1st night at the hotel, the rice and curry was one of the best we have eaten so far in Sri Lanka.
We stayed in one of the new rooms which were so spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable.
Bernard, the hotel manager, would do anything for you, he arranged all of our transport as we needed.
Would definitely recommend.
