Pros:

Room was v dirty w toe nail clippings on the floor by end of bed that stuck to my feet. Room next to back exit by Wagamama & had homeless people sleeping on back stairwell. Felt unsafe and slept w a chair against the door. Stayed here a few years back so idk what happened to the place.

Pros:

Great location in the center of Windsor overlooking the castle. Easy check-in. Room is large and comfortable. It could do with a refresh and for sure a new mattress. But for the location and price is was great.

Pros:

No restaurant
Car park long walk
Curtains hanging off rail, couldn't shut them.
Only one pillow, no spares
No blankets
Room didn't have kettle, had to ask for one.
TV only showed few channels. No BBC1 or 2, ITV, Channel 4 or 5.
Radiator not working, very cold in evening and night
No soap
Banging door in halfway all night as staff when in and out of staff only area. We had to complain at 4am after not sleeping up to that point due to door slamming regularly.
Plus side we only stayed 1 night.

Pros:

Was quite disappointing! We booked a luxury room, based off the pictures on hotel.com. we were given room 103 which is not luxury by any means, it was actually an accessible room. When we opened the curtains, the view was horrible. Window was full of stains and could just seen bins, a used mattress and what we assumed were workers from a restaurant sat in the alley! We had no bath in the room - which we thought was included with luxury. We ended up complaining and the lady behind the desk said she had no more rooms - after a bit of back and forth we eventually were offered a new room which was better, with a partial castle view and a bath but unfortunately - no plug for the bath so we couldnt use it anyway! The bed was also two single beds pushed together to disguise as a double bed.
All in all, the hotel is a good location but I wouldn't rush back. I didn't think either room I had looked anything like the 'luxury' rooms pictured on Hotels.com

Pros:

Plenty of shops and dining nearby. Windsor Castle is directly across the street and makes a lovely view. The rooms are clean, a bit outdated and worn but comfortable

Pros:

The property proximity to Windsor Castle is outstanding. I had a Castle view room and it did not dissapoint. The view was incredible! With this being said, if the property were to be updated just a little....IE paint and better maintenance, it could be truly great and a premium price could be charged due to the proximity to the Castle and train to London.

Pros:

Enjoyed the location, perfect across the road from the castle. Nearby to shops, walking distance to everything
Staff on this occasion not overly helpful when i complained about overlooking their garbage bins when i booked a City view room!!
Could've done better or offered some solution
So in that regard disappointing considering Im an overseas visitor from NZ.

Pros:

The man behind front desk on the evening of 22 Sep was obnoxious and inattentive. I felt like I was treated poorly because perhaps I am from a different culture than he was. On the morning of the 23 Sep, however, the was a young lady who was very professional, attentive, listened to me and and was quite helpful. I just wanted to let you know that the man on the evening of 22 Sep is not representing your business very well. I own 2 small companies and I would surely hire the young lady. And I would most asuredly get rid of the the gentleman if he was scaring off business like that.

Pros:

Great location for touring Windsor castle. It’s an older property and has some quirks. Our rooms toilet was repaired improperly and didn’t function, we found it late at night and wasn’t too bad an inconvenience since we only spent a night.

Pros:

Clean & friendly staff. Be prepared to carry your luggage up and down stairs. Location is close to Heathrow (used Uber), shopping, castle, & the Long Walk. Felt safe walking in the shopping district in the evenings. Lots of restaurants nearby and people sitting outside the castle in the evenings. Only issue was it being noisy both nights with people partying at a nearby club or arguing middle of the night out on the street. Not the fault of the hotel.
