Paid for a hotel and got one, it was pretty alright
Pros:

Solid value for the price, shower pressure was solid

Cons:

Really musty smell in the halls, poor ventilation in the bathrooms and rooms made it hard to dry off after showering

For my purposes, hotel was conveniently located.

Cons:

The hotel is undergoing renovation work, which is sometimes quite noisy. There is also no possibility to buy food. And there were doubts about the honesty of the staff.

Rooms were nice and renovated.

Cons:

I understand they were under construction but I do not think they were ready for guest to be staying at the hotel yet. They were still under heavy renovation and started working at 8am where guest were present. Loud banging of hammers and saws are not a very nice wake up call at 8am. Their was not one working ice machine in the entire hotel.

Pros:

This hotel false advertises in pictures of a buffet breakfast available. Thank goodness there’s a Tim Horton’s down the street.

No pool, the entire hotel is under renovation which apparently has been long ongoing. It says it’s an IHG property but that’s a stretch.

My daughter was scared as the pillowcase had an old bloodstain on it. It was clean but she was terrified.

The bathroom was nice . The bed had a very light comforter on it but it worked as the AC wasn’t super powerful.

I couldn’t cancel and we definitely didn’t get a good deal.

It was a nice area and extremely quiet.
