Bien dans l’ensemble
Pros:

Établissement propre. Quelques escaliers pour monter dans les étages. Situé à environ 500 m du centre. Grande cote pour le retour. Responsable parlant français. Possibilité de vous réserver les excursions.

Cons:

Petit déjeuner pas assez copieux.

Mérite une petite rénovation et un grand nettoyage dans les chambres ( état des rideaux, lampes HS, etc..).

My entire feeling with this place is that there is a huge lack of care. This runs through every aspect of the hotel.

When we checked in we paid and then were given the room key, no explanation of breakfast or anything else connected with the hotel.

Our bed sheets were dirty on arrival. I asked for them to be changed and was told there was no clean linens. When I said but they are dirty, magically some appeared.

The room wasn't clean either, lots of dust and cobwebs about the place. The bathroom drains also give off a horrible smell. The curtains dont keep out the light so you'll wake up early.

Every interaction with the staff felt like I was bothering them and I would get a sigh and eye roll, for asking basic things like can you empty the bin in our room.

This attitude is present in the rest of the hotel, everything just needs a good clean and for things to be sorted out. The dining area is covered in dust and cobwebs with stuff piled here there and everywhere.

The breakfast is edible and that's about it.

It's a shame as the hotel could be a good place to stay, if there was more effort put in.

Probably our favourite place we stayed on our Vietnam stay, hotel is right next to the hkbuslines office so it’s a 0.3mile walk to the hotel, greeted by loads of cats! and the owners are lovely people

Pros:

Great location and staff and cats are very friendly! Breakfast is also a nice addition.
The layout and design of the hotel is quirky, I like all the wood and rustic feel.

Cons:

Unfortunately I had a cockroach in my bathroom, a few hairs in my bed.
Not a fan of allowing smoking inside the breakfast/restaurant area either.
A small fridge in the room would be nice but not a necessity.

Cute accommodation a short 10min walk from the hustle and bustle of Sapa town.
Pros:

Very cute place, rustic charm all around. The staff catered to our vegan diet requirements well once understood.

Cons:

A few things didn't work as well as expected - hot water was absent on day two, our lamp and air conditioning weren't working. This was no bother to us and I'm sure that the lovely staff would have attended to these issues had we requested them to.
