Cosy hotel in heritage village
Pros:

Excellent value for money. Room was small but very quiet and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the blackout blind on velux window helped with sleeping.

We met friends for dinner in the restaurant and couldn’t fault our meals.

Cons:

We received several emails inviting us to bid to upgrade our room, which was a bit irritating. It’s always nice to be given a complementary upgrade, but I’ve never been asked to bid for a better room and chance how much extra to offer. Needless to say, we didn’t take BW up on the offer!
