Skyline Serenity Luxe Suite-Private Room

It wasn’t as clean as I’d hope. There was a spider in the bathroom, dust in corners etc. As the host lives upstairs it is very noisy in the mornings with musical instruments playing. The pool has tiles missing and generally needs updating.

I would have liked the large windows in the room to be cleaner.
The shared kitchen felt a bit cluttered, and a kettle for hot water would be useful.

The owner or operator of this house is rude and insulted my intelligence after I highlighted that the pool is closed despite it being clearly pictured and listed as an amenity.
They dont tell you until after you book that the pool and jacuzzi is closed unless you pay 100$ a night obviously ridiculous sum and cheeky. 99% of guests wouldnt care if you charged 15$ extra each. The lies and way the owner reacted was rude.

Easy access

I had to walk through the owner’s living space to access my room, as there was no private entrance. The room also didn’t have its own independent AC, just a fan, which made it less comfortable at times, since I was there in August. The pool is shared with other guests on the property, and during my stay there were five other people, so I never had the pool to myself

A was a little pricey for a room.

Terrible wifi, both access points were constantly disconnecting.
It takes 3-5 minutes of wasting water down the drain until you get hot water in the shower.
The room is not air conditioned, there is a central thermostat for the entire house, the room was hot in the afternoon.
The only private areas in the pictures are the bedroom and the bathroom, the living room etc are common areas.

The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The curtains were stained with visible water damage, the headboard had multiple marks, and the furniture showed signs of dirt and wear. It didn’t feel well-maintained, which affected the overall experience.
