Disappointing and dirty
Pros:

The location was good and the staff helped us book the sunrise Ijen excursion.

Cons:

The shared bathroom was filthy, with long hairs strewn everywhere and a strong nasty stench. The ‘breakfast’ was a sandwich with a nondescript spread in a styrofoam box. We were not given a choice or asked prior if we had any allergies, nor were we even told what the filling was.

Lastly, the door to the private twin rooms is just a panel of opaque glass which lets in any light in the hallway or opposite bedrooms. We had an 11:30pm Ijen pick-up but could not sleep because it was so light in our room due to this. The photos conveniently hide this.

Location, it's very noisy outside, hearing the busy main street and bell sounds from the Mosque every hour.

Pros:

Honestly, They are a superb for customer relations. all the staffs very helpful and friendly, I was unwell when i arrived, and they checking up on my conditions regularly asking whether i need help for something including medicine, food, or even my water supplies in the room. When i comeback from hiking ijen, i need a massage therapist and they help me to find good one! They are always make sure that i have everything i need, including provide me a good & customize travel trips for a solo traveler like me(cheap & good price👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻) . For all their excellent service,
I extent my stay for another 3 more days! Truly feels like home and make me feel prioritize even on a solo trip. Their attidude when i giving an inputs, is also a plus. They are always giving solutions for any challenges that i have.
Their room is clean, the shared bathroom and other public area is also clean.
Excellent service, initiative & problem solving team, strategic locations to find food, buying souvenirs, ATM, and other tourist destination.
Thankyou mas Arif, mas Johan, mba Ipung, mba Fitri, mba Elsa and mas Ari i had the best time as a first timer in Banyuwangi♥️ thankyou for make me feel safe as a woman & solo traveler. Highly reccomended for anyone who plans a trip in Banyuwangi.
