We stayed at Atour Hotel Hangzhou Huanglong for 7 nights in a family room, travelling with my 94-year-old mother-in-law, my wife, and myself.
The family room was spacious and comfortable, with a super-single bed for my MIL and a double bed for my wife and me. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the pillow selection available, which helped us rest well throughout our stay.
Initially, we were assigned a room located at the end of the corridor. As my MIL walks with assistance, the distance to the lift was a little challenging. The hotel team was very understanding and kindly arranged a room change for us. The replacement room was equally comfortable and well-appointed. We truly appreciated their patience and flexibility.
The room facilities were excellent - spacious bathroom, comfortable heated toilet, strong shower pressure with consistent hot water, good quality hairdryer, complimentary daily replenishment of drinks and bottled water (excellent drip coffee provided too).
The hotel also provides very useful facilities for longer stays - free washing machines and dryers, complimentary detergent, ironing facilities, and a small but functional gym
The breakfast is served from 7:00am to 10:30am at Level 5. We also appreciated the late-night light supper option (porridge/buns) available in the evening. The food selection was consistent during our stay and provided a convenient option after a long day outside. The location is convenient - eateries are within a few minutes’ walk, Metro Line 2 is around a 7-minute walk away, beside K-Lab shopping mall.
However, what truly made our stay memorable was the service. Every staff member we met, from reception, restaurant, housekeeping, and public areas, was professional, warm, friendly, and patient.
