The first weekend of August is the Calahonda festivities. They are held on the promenade near the hotel so there will be a lot of people and a lot of noise at night on those days.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Hôtel très agréable, chambre très confortable, nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour !
Pros:

Accueil très agréable. La chambre était très grande, confortable et propre. Elle a répondu à toutes nos attentes. Nous avons réservé au dernier moment sans aucun problème (c'était la dernière chambre double disponible) et nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
Hôtel à côté de la plage et des montagnes. Parking gratuit juste à côté.

Cons:

Le vis-à-vis avec l'immeuble en face mais ce n'était pas extrêmement dérangeant.

Could have been better

We love the location, right on the beach in a pretty seaside town.

Cons:

We fell into the trap of not realising that in September many places in Spain close entirely or reduce their hours. As it was our wedding anniversary recently, we had hoped to have a nice meal at the hotel restaurant which we have used before and enjoyed. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed until the weekend, as was the very nice looking restaurant next door. We were left with only one option in town which was not very good
We also felt that the staff could have been more helpful in this situation, as the receptionist told us the restaurant next door was open when it was not.
The whole place seemed to be closed by early evening including the bar.
The bed would have been comfortable but the waterproof mattress cover made it rather sticky and hot to lie on
This was not a cheap hotel, I expected better. Perhaps there could be information on the website regarding the reduced hours etc. therefore allowing us to pick a date when the all facilities were open.

Buen alojamiento mal por no informar de la boda

Ubicación inmejorable, vistas y habitación y baño amplio

Cons:

Almohadas muy mejorables y si tienen una boda es día de estancia contratado, lo normal es que se avise a quien reserva para q decida si se aloja o no, desde luego q de haberlo sabido no me habría alojado, imposible echarse un rato a descansar al medio día o relajarse en la terraza leyendo, o se avisa o se insonoriza en condiciones.
