Staff was great. We felt safe inside the room, at the pool and in the parking lot. The pool area was clean, the room was clean, the breakfast area was also clean. I would 100% rebook a room.

It wasn’t the cleanest-breakfast was disappointing, the only options were toast, muffins and waffles. When I rent a place with kitchen, I expect pans, dishes, etc. there was nothing in the kitchen at all, not even dish-soap, dish cloth.
Nothing, false information and pictures on line doesn’t make the matter better.
There was black mold on the side of the stove and floor boards is what u want to cook with you must be from another country. The corners were moldy the closet had mold and water rot, very disgusting. The front door had a pile of black hair and what looked to being a female used pad for their monthly period. In other words, the noncleanliness was off the charts. There was 3 other guest demanding their money back as well, their rooms were fifty as well.
There was nothing about this stay that was enjoyable. It was the dirtiest and most unmaintenance place I've ever stayed. It was so filthy that my daughter ended up getting sick from the unclean air. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. I can't believe that a hotel owner would allow patrons to stay
in a place like this. I'm not sure if this is a halfway house, or somewhat of a homeless shelter, but it was thoroughly disgusting.
Everything, from the cleanliness and unmaintenance room, service and breakfast, this has to be the worst place I've ever stayed.
Good location. Easy check in.
Zero hot water, no bedding for the sofa bed. One toilet wasn't working. Small holes in a door and wall. Paint was peeling outside. Air conditioning couldn't keep up. I booked a 2 bedroom suite with sofa bed with a 6 person booking and got a 1 bedroom with a loft and a loveseat "sofa" bed meaning the room would only comfortably sleep 5.
The bath tub and what looked like blood or rust in the curtains had holes in them. The bed made my eyes red because of all the bleach they used in the room and on the bedding.. and the couch smelled like someone or animal pissed on it... I will NOT STAY AT OTHER HAWTHON. TO BAD THAT I CAN'T GET A REFUND FROM THE PLACE

Breakfast was absolutely minimal, the worst of any place we’ve stayed when on the road. The bathroom sink needs plumbing, the tub is a disaster waiting to happen; when showering it’s dangerously slippery if you’re elderly. The Hawthorn has to be at least 40 years old and it shows everywhere.
It was dirty. It just didn’t give me that clean hotel feel. It reeked of cigarettes for being a nonsmoking room & next door was strong marijuana smell coming from next door. I didn’t feel greeted when first getting there. It was def one of the worse stays I’ve experienced in Wichita. Avoid because photos don’t match in person experience. I’d add more pics if I could..

The room dad a very musty smell the ceiling fan looked like it was ready to fall from the ceiling the lower bathroom had mold in the corners by the bath tub and neither bathtubs would drain like they should
