Pros:

Großzügiges (Reihen-)Haus über 2Etagen mit guter, recht neuer Ausstattung und Sauna, die leider defekt war. Eigener Parkplatz in Hausnähe.

Cons:

Sauna war leider defekt. Treppe nach oben ist sehr schmal und mit Teppich belegt. Nicht für ältere Menschen mit Gangunsicherheit empfehlenswert.

You need a car or be willing to walk up and down Hill 2 miles with luggage
Pros:

Beautiful surroundings of trees. The lodge was well appointed and very comfortable

Cons:

We were not aware you needed a car; the man at the reception was argumentative when we asked for a taxi into town and he informed us this was a Hilton timeshare and they don’t have taxis and the booking site stated a car was required. Then he said the lodges are not Hilton, they just manage them. I showed him the booking.com description and there was no mention of a car being required. He said to take it up with booking.com
How this makes the difference baffled me.

Apart from the electric issues, it was good. It would cost too much in electric to stay longer

Good location very clean all of the facilities they provided you would not need to bring anything with you as they thought of everything lovely and quiet also good for parking staff very friendly we use it as a base

Don’t like the idea of having to pay electric charges when they say you only pay for excessive used We only use the lodge as a base as we was out all the time we did not use heating or any of the cooking facilities, etc.,all we use was lights as normal when we came in at night. went to bed. we was out first thing in the morning, but we still got electric charges. It was minimal, but don’t understand why the electric was more expensive than what we use each day at home ???? Also you don’t get to take me to readings yourself. They say they do that so you never see them. ???
